Hello! We got a notice for leaving our recycling can put past 24 hours of pickup, because our recycling has not been picked up for a MONTH? I do not think it is fair for us to have to pay any fine at all, as we put the correct items in the recycling container and it wasn’t overflowing. We left the can out by the street for 24 hours in case recycling came by later because we were not sure what was going on and why it never got picked up? I even sent an email about 2 weeks ago and never got a response!!! We are upset about this and would appreciate a response. Ticket: 62023-02-0428 Please take a look and consider appealing this. Thank you for your time.
Street light at Gifford and Woodside has been out for over 6 months.
Recycling was due to be picked up today, but was not. Not sure if others in my area have the same issue, but I set my can out last night and it was not picked up.
Tenants (over-occupied, BTW) have left bags of trash in yard. Wild animals can dig through them.
Tenants are storing trash/recycling bins alongside the street (11th). They should be keeping them out of sight (garage, backyard, etc.), as per city code.
There is a dangerous looking 220V outlet with loose exposed wires on the sidewalk on the east side of Walnut approximately in front of Malibu Grill.
Water usage has tripled since we moved in. Increase was drastic in the last month. Water usage habits have not changed. Concerned about meter issue or leak.
The traffic lights at the intersection of E. 2nd St and S High St appear to be on a timer 24 hours a day. This includes the left turn arrow for cars coming from the north; it always comes on whether there is a car there or not. For those of us who regularly drive through this intersection early in the morning (5:00 am and 7:00 am), it is an unnecessary waste of time and fuel to wait through the full rotation of the lights when there not be even a single other car the entire time. Can the traffic lights at this intersection be switched to sensors for a designated time at night until 7:00 am? Or, can they be set to flash red so it is essentially a 4-way stop?
