Near SE corner of my lot, an asphalt patch that was applied during the fiber optic cable project has collapsed and is, more/less, a hole at the edge of clover lane. currently 5" to 10" deep and about 12" across. Without some attention, it will grow / get worse, and it is a safety issue for vehicles and pedestrians. Thanks for your assistance.

this washed out patch is a fairly serious safety issue for cars and pedestrians. Due to recent work on a sidewalk on Clover Lane, orange traffic cones were available, and were placed at the site of the hole to reduce the risk of an accident. City personnel came to see the issue, and took away the traffic cones, thereby increasing the risk of an accident. City personnel informed me that the hole would be repaired "soon" by the fiber optics installation contractor. While I understand that this sort of thing takes some time to coordinate and complete, the removal of the orange cone and the lack of a repair, is creating a safety risk for cars and pedestrians in the area. thanks, kelly
Hi. I appreciate the curb-side pick up of trash and recycling. This week (yesterday) after our Tuesday morning pick-up of trash, I noticed that one of the two attachment points for the lid of our city trash container had broken. It was not broken before the pick-up. I understand that the wonderful no-touch process is challenging for the operator, who is working in cold, dark winter streets with large and imprecise equipment, trying to complete a large job in a limited amount of time. Things break. I can go to the roll of duct tape to attempt a fix, but I wanted you to be aware of the issue and I'd like to know what you propose as the preferred solution. thanks, Kelly

The curb that encloses the parking lot in front of Turquaz Cafe is a hazard to vehicles. It's very difficult to park in the provided spaces because there's a ditch meeting that much higher curb just behind it. It leaves too little room for drivers to maneuver out of a parking space and out of the lot. I often eat at this restaurant and several times have been blocked in due to trucks parking in adjacent spaces. This makes the already difficult task of maneuvering out of the space impossible. And I've damaged my car on the ditch and curb. At the very least, the spots should be labeled for compact cars only. Ideally, the curb would be removed and the lot repaved. Street cuts on E. 20th between N. Dunn and Lincoln are excessive and damaging tires. Please fix before more cars are damaged. Thank you!
Whenever I return home from work every night, I am always greeted by the mud from construction. Someone else has reported this issue December last year, but I don’t see any improvement.
