Neighbors in wheelchairs are riding on the street on E. Allendale due to inaccessible sidewalks throughout the neighborhood.
We have a lot of problems with our building, including automatic doors not working, trash disposal problems and maintenance issues. There are dozens of light bulbs out on each floor. Pivotal, the company out of Ohio who bought the property last year, has had staffing issues that have caused numerous problems and bills not getting paid like trash removal and landscaping for mowing. The Fire Marshal found issues with the elevator and I have no idea if they have been corrected. Many of the residents have mobility problems and they need the front and back lobby doors working properly. This company is notorious with retaliatory evictions which I understand is illegal in Indiana. People are afraid to complain for this reason. Two property managers have walked off the job in the past 2 weeks and our maintenance guy is worthless. Please help us get these issues fixed asap! The trash issue is fast getting out of control. Thank you for your time and help!
Over grown weeds in yard. Can’t see if anyone is walking on the sidewalk if entering walker street. Been that way for years. For the pedestrian safety the weeds need taken down
catalent refuses to make their parking lot safe for employees walking to and from their cars, especially those with mobility issues. There are no sidewalks, and because they do not provide enough parking for all employees during the day, people are driving around and around, looking for empty spaces instead of looking out for pedestrians. the more they have to drive, the more frustrated they get so the faster they go and less they pay attention.
The City does not maintain the trees between the sidewalk and the street on Adams. The trees and brush are overgrown with invasive species and the local residents are spending hours and money trying to maintain the weeds/trees that are impeding their property. The sidewalk is not accessible because the City has not maintained their portion of the land between the sidewalk and the street.
women contacted the mayors office saying she had contacted the non-emergency police number for over an hour the prior night due to a homelessness problem in Bryan Park. never received a response from non emergency line and then contacted 911
from the bus stop on covenanter up towards kroger there's a step of steps with a handrail, in front of the opticians. the handrail is almost completely rusted through on one of the uprights and will give way if someone needs to put any weight on it while going up these steps
I have no idea how to fit this problem into the city's framework, so am putting it here. The garage you see is owned 1/2 by me and 1/2 by the neighbor (a corporation who is supposed to rent to 3 adults. the driveway is shared. As you can see, a car is parked blocking my access to my garage. The person I spoke to next door doesn't know who the car belongs to, he is a visitor. This happens all the time. There are also 2 cars parked on the other side of the house. I have talked to HAND about how to find the property line and info about getting the garage demolished. The info was woefully incomplete. I am extremely frustrated that I cannot get help from the city, who seems focused only on increasing density. I hope you're happy.
