I would like to report unlawful practices, and a violation do ordinance of 20-03. My car was towed, without the requirements being met for a non-consensual towing. I had parked, my with the expectation that it was lawfully parked, as there were no conspicuous signing stating otherwise. I retuned to my car 2 hours later to find that it had been towed by chandler's towing service. According to 4.32.110 of the municipal code "it shall be unlawful for any tow business or tow truck operator to tow a vehicle unless the parking lot in which the vehicle is parked has signage, posted in plain view and visible to the public at each entrance and exit" the parking lot where I had parked did not have any signage indicating that the lot was permit parking only. This code, addresses it's intention, that being the protection of the communities most vulnerable members. following this event I have $60 to live off of for the next two weeks.

Can the sidewalk at xxx East 7th Street be shaved down to eliminate the height difference between the two adjoining slabs? See photo attached. This height difference can be dangerous for westbound cyclists riding on the sidewalk who need to negotiate both a quick right turn and a left turn to enter the SR46 underpass. Now that an asphalt multi-use path has been built at Relato Bloomington at the intersection of Pete Ellis Drive and Longview Avenue, westbound cyclists are more apt to ride on the path/sidewalk vs. the street, and will continue to ride on the sidewalk all the way to the underpass. Cyclists will be going at speed since it is downhill westbound. To negotiate this sidewalk height disparity, while at the same time negotiating a sweeping turn, poses a dangerous situation that can be easily eliminated.

I’ve noticed non native plant species on this City parcel and would like to know since we have been working on similar plant removal and treatment along the B Line who might be be ones to inquire of addressing the bush honeysuckle, wintercreeper et al on this triangler parcel just a few parcels from the back parking of Opportunity House. I don't have a current photo but particularly since the utility work completed on this stretch of road the parking spots in front of the shops flood and hold water. The gradient actually seems to slope away from the drain instead of towards. As a result, we frequently have to bail out the parking spots to make them usable for customers. Flooding issues include the accessible parking spot, which poses a risk to the mobility impaired. How can we best collaborate on a solution? Thanks!

Occupants have been erecting numerous structures made of pallets, wood, and tarps throughout their property for several weeks. The backyard seems completely full of these shanties. Their "construction" continues throughout much of the evening many days of the week, often extending to 10:00pm or later. The banging and power tool noise is a nuisance and the many structures they are creating seem very unsafe, especially for the children that are seen/heard playing there.

On the ridge overlooking the northernmost part of the B-Line - close to where the B-Line intersects with Adams St. there is a growing camp. The picture here was taken on 4/1/2024. There is trash flowing downhill from the camp on the ridge. Some of the trash includes at least 3 propane tanks. The camp is less than 0.25 miles from homes and a park. It is a bit scary to think that the campers might be using the propane inside their tents. What can be done to help these folks stay warm and dry without the risk of blowing up a neighborhood?

People are living year-round in an RV parked on an unimproved surface at 220 S. Maple Street. They have been there for about 18 months. I previously reported them to H.AN.D. and the city's legal department. There are also 3-5 other cars parked in the small property lot at all times. The man is apparently fixing cars for others. Various articles and garbage bags are often strewn about. Their has been many domestic violence and nuisance reports to the police and fire department during this time.
