Trash cans at curbside/driveway.
Trash cans at curbside/driveway.
Just ONE of my issues with them is how they neglect their property and very frequently a black pickup truck heaped, and I mean heaped, with garbage sits in in their driveway or on the street in front of their house along with more black bags of garbage in the front and back of the property. The truck is sitting there as we speak……Their house is at the corner of West 3rd Street and Davisson. My house is 1005 W. 3rd Street but his property faces Davisson and so that’s his address but we are both across from Rose Hill Cemetery. His property is in shambles and has these stakes in the front yard where he always has his dogs tethered and his 4 cats roaming around all sickly with their hair falling out
Trash all over yard. On corner of 10th and Washington.
That said, they left behind several trash cans full of garbage that have since been rifled through by opossums and other vermin. There's garbage scattered all along their driveway in front of their garage. I've written a few times about their overgrown yard and utility easement.
There is a growing pile of garbage behind and alongside the house at 501 S. Mitchell. This adjoins a walkway that links two parts of Hunter Ave and it’s just above a waterway that feeds into the Jordan River. As a neighbor I’m concerned about rats and other sanitary issues likely to ensue.

A constituent called and suggested that a page concerning road safety when others are texting and driving be added to the website.

She said that is greatest number of deer she has seen in her neighborhood at one time and she found it unsettling. She advised that she did not want a call back, but wants "someone to do something." I did not speak to Dukes directly; instead, this concern was relayed to me from another City department. BIG pothole at Madison & 15th Street where the two streets meet. Very deep. Westside.
The Do Not Enter sign at the intersection of the east-west alley behind the Buskirk Chumley with Washington Street has been knocked down.
