Line of Sight

2414 E 7th ST

Case Date:
7/24/2008

There is a lilac bush on the southwest corner of East 7th Street and Hillsdale Drive that blocks the line of sight as you pull off of 7th. There is also a concern that people fly through the stop sign at this intersection. The stop sign is placed a ways back from the intersection. They would also like for the City to look at a multi-way stop.

Line of Sight

714 N Rogers ST

Case Date:
8/27/2007

The citizen at 416 W. 11th Street uses the parking lot behind his building. His access is a East/West alley off of Rogers Street. There is an evergreen tree that blocks the line of sight for those pulling out of this alley trying to go South on Rogers Street. You have to pull partially into the northbound lane on Rogers to see around the tree. The tree also impedes pedestrian traffic along the sidewalk. The tree is behind the sidewalk. Re: skating lessons @ FSC. In the new brochure it indicates that skating lessons are 30 minutes long, however, the actual times run 25 minutes. She would really like it if it were actually a 30 minute lesson like last year OR to have the information more consistent.

The Rev. Gaus would like Insight to consider adding the ODYSSEY channel to the basic or enlarged cable package. Odyssey is a multi-religious family network including Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, Jewish, and Muslim programming. Congregations will be encouraging their constituents to watch, which will increase viewership.
