I am emailing to request a target date we will be required to vacate our space. Warrant Technologies currently resides in the Showers Building at 320 W. 8th St, Suite 207 Bloomington, IN 47404. We have been verbally notified by three different city representatives, one of which was the deputy mayor, that will be required to move out prior to end of our lease. We have inquired each time – When will we be required to move? No response has been provided to date. This is having a detrimental impact to our ability to support our customers. We cannot plan for / execute upgrades needed to include facility security measures, classified holding capability, expanded connectivity to include classified connection, cooling, alarms, and additional access control. Warrant needs an answer to the following questions; • Will we be required to move out? • If yes, when will we be required to move? • If no, will we be able to exercise our lease option years? Street & Traffic Signs

Bloomington, IN 47401, USA

Case Date:
9/27/2023

Because Miller is a popular throughway and Maxwell does not have stop signs at the 3-way, there have been multiple accidents and even more near-accidents in the years since I've lived nearby. We could use stop signs to help the flow of traffic a lot.

Utilities Construction

S Mill Stone Way, Bloomington, IN 47401, USA

Case Date:
10/4/2023

Gigabit or Giga-something installed fiber optics in the neighborhood. The holes they dug in the grass were not repaired. After advising them of the situation they came out to "repair" the grass. The soil was filled with rocks and gravel. There were no grass seeds in the soil. I spent a whole day picking rocks and gravel out of the soil, buying top soil, and grassseed to fix this. The ground is no longer level and there's also rather gouges or chunks in sidewalks and curbs. The road had preexisting, but plugged pot holes near the Sare entrance, but now those potholes are open again and expanding.

Smoking Violation

Case Date:
7/29/2018

B-Town Diner at 211 N. College allows it's employees and guests to freely use electronic smoking devices in it's establishment, despite the health inspector specifically instructing the owner and management that this was not allowed. Employees have also allowed and encouraged a minor employee (under the age of eighteen) to engage in this practice. There have been complaints to the owner and management but these have been ignored or flatly dismissed. These devices are in frequent use by wait staff as well as kitchen staff.

City Performance

Please update your police officers on policies regarding insurance, warranted searched, and speed limit postings. I was pulled over yesterday by a police officer who said I was tailgating yet speeding, and when I explained I was tailgating because I had to slam on my brakes since he pulled out into the lane. I believed he was making an emergency maneuver, however was just trying to get in traffic. He pulled me over, said he would cite me if I did not have my insurance, which I did, but it is also a law that I have 24 hours to provide that proof. It is also a law that if he has no reason to search my trunk, he cannot. However, he asked and I, politely, said yes. However, this was not necessary as there was no probable cause to search. Luckily my father is IMPD and was in direct contact with his supervisor. But I would like to make the city aware of this incident, as I felt very uncomfortable. Especially when said officer kept saying things were expired, then changing his mind when I said they were not. He was very unprofessional, and as someone who has been around law enforcement for 21 years, exhibited very concerning behavior. Thank you.

Accessibility Problem

Case Date:
8/20/2018

My friend, who uses a wheelchair for mobility, and I went to the Office Lounge on Saturday night. While the building is accessible the bathrooms are not. The door was not wide enough for him to enter and he has a small manual chair. A larger motorized wheelchair would not fit either. The manager apologized and offered to clear the women's bathroom, but he had already looked at the door and determined it was not wide enough either. Besides that, I don't think offering another genders bathroom would count as accessibility? I know the OL has been around a long time and I assume there is some grandfathering of pre-accessibility guidelines, but at some point don't they have to come "up to code"? Is that only if they do renovations? How long can they remain un-accessible? I hope there is someone who can address this issue because we would like to be able to visit the OL again, but will not if he can't use the restroom while there. Thank you for your help!

Trails

2609 West Wapehani Road

Case Date:
8/21/2018

A group of people have set up camp within the park. They have tents, sheets hung blocking the view, etc. They have beaten a trail to where they are camping and have removed vegetation to clear the site. I haven't seen it, but my adult son was out there looking for our dog and stumbled onto the campsite. He said if you park in the lot and go southeast, you'll find the camp. They are staying away from the old pond area and where there are workers. We just hate to see destruction in the park! Thanks, Martha
