3-4 large dogs in fenced in back yard. Dog waste accumulates and smells so bad that the neighbors can't sit outside. Complainants say they have called animal control several times. HAND has also referred 3 previous complaints to animal control with no response. JIM: Please let me know if this is something we can address (or need to, based on investigating the complaint) through BMC & Animal control or if it has to become a civil matter between the neighbors. Mrs. Keys called to voice concern about the tax money citizens pay for students to have large items picked up. I explained to her our trash/sanitation system. She primarily called to complain about a large amount of weeds at 1001 E. 1st, and also weeds in the surrounding area that she thinks need to be removed. (No other specific addresses were given.)

The Goodwill Store has two dumpsters behind the store that are locked. Someone has dumped a lot of trash on top of the dumpsters and all over the parking lot behind the store. The Manager would like someone to come see the mess as soon as possible before Rumpke comes to empty the dumpsters (if they can get to the dumpsters).
