There is a surveillance camera at the construction property on Grimes and Henderson. Thought it was a street light at first but then realized it was a surveillance camera, feel that it is against public privacy, especially since it is located at a construction site with private contractors.

Inaccessible Parking

I cannot park in the alley because my neighbor, David Arthur, told me I'm not allowed to park next to my house in the lot. I have a disability and a handicapped parking pass. I am deaf, and I need access to parking at home. David's black truck is out of order and parked in the backyard. He has four vehicles, and I cannot park next to him. I was told the city owns the alley. I need to know what I need to do to be able to park in the alley.

Excessive Growth

The weeds at this address are taller than people. You can't walk down the sidewalk in the area because its so overgrown. The yard has been overgrown for at least five years now and it appears to be an ongoing issue. The overgrown yard is also creating safety hazards, such as blocking sidewalks, obstructing visibility for drivers, and attracting pests, including rats and raccoons. overgrown yard might be violating. The overgrown yard is affecting the neighborhood's appearance, property values, and quality of life for residents. Neighbors have complained numerous times, but the city doesn't seem to address the issue with this yard.

Hi, When attempting to drive westbound on Countryside Lane outside Summit Elementary, we were told by a crossing guard that they were allowed to completely block westbound traffic and would not allow us to drive in the eastbound lane due to “their walkers”. I raised a complaint with the principal several weeks ago about not only convenience, but also the fact that emergency vehicles are not able to drive through. They responded indicating that people are only supposed to be parking on the far westbound side of the street and not blocking traffic, but that is not what’s happening. How do they have the authority to block traffic and decide who is or is not allowed to drive on a public street? They said it was “for 15 minutes” but no drop/off pick/up ever takes a mere 15 minutes as parents start lining up we before school lets out.

810 W 7th ST

The North/South alley between 810 W. 7th and 804 W. 7th is being encroached upon by gardens, woodpiles, trees/vegetation and possibly the fence and cinder block garage owned by 810 W 7th St. As a result, the alley traffic is being diverted outside of the alley right of way and onto the private property located at 804 W. 7th. This appears to have been going on for a number of years. As the new owner of 804 W. 7th St., it is my full intention to re-claim the property/property line currently being encroached upon and proceed with renovations. I request that the Street Dept contact the owner of 810 W. 7th and order the encroachments be removed. With the assistance of a surveyor, I have located the NW and SW corner pins delineating the right of way and pounded new T posts just outside of the right of way in those spots and plan to post the entire property line once the encroachments are removed. Were I to reclaim the property line today, the alley would become impassible due to said encroachments. I request your assistance in remedying this situation in a civil and legal manner, as requests to the homeowner of 810 W.7th have fallen upon deaf ears. I request that you keep me in the loop regarding this issue. I would be happy to meet with a representative of the street dept, with survey in hand, to assist in clarifying and remedying this issue, as renovations of 804 W. 7th will begin in a few weeks. 1506 N Washington ST

Cars parked in little tid bits and cars parked on the opposite side of the street blocks the road. I almost got hit from someone turning left onto N Washington Street because it turns into a one way street when everyone is parked. Please evaluate when cars are parked (during the day 3-5 pm expecially). I am not able to go up to the stop sign because there is a major blind spot someone can turn left into me. There is also a MAJOR pot hole on this road.

You have 8 workers with their thumbs up their butts doing absolutely nothing and with whatever cheap traffic barriers in place traffic was stopped 3 ways-I waited for 11 minutes heading north and the traffic was backed up past the intersection at Hillside I’ve never seen anything as incredulous in my entire life
