I work in Luddy Hall on the IU Campus. I have an ADA sticker for my car. The only ADA parking close to the southside of the building in on the west side of Myles Brank Hall behind Luddy. The City of Bloomington has timed parking along the south side of Luddy on Cottage Grove. It would benefit me to have at least one or preferably two of those parking spaces issued for drivers with a disabled license. This building has no parking on the other three sides. I'm 71 years old with major health issues and we have elderly and/or disabled family members come to Luddy also, especially in inclement weather when there is more possibility of falls. They are blocking the road as always. One way in and one way out. Something needs to be done. They have metal and wood all in the road. This is almost daily, and this is the last thing I want to deal with when I'm coming home. Thank you!

#204971 So, you have no issue with the fact that this is a used car lot on a residential street? You have no issue with the fact that the owner of this used car lot, which would NEVER occur in any other neighborhood in the city, blocks traffic and impedes the two-way flow of traffic? You have no issue with the trashy area, littered with various types of products and containers for refurbishing cars? So, it's o.k. to have a used car facility in a residential neighborhood. Is that correct? Maybe I should start my own.

This is a 2 week follow up to report # 204696 per request from Raye Ann Cox. There are still 3 vehicles parked in the back yard. There are 2 vehicles parked in driveway, one is unplated, one up on a jack. We asked owner again to remove the jack due to safety concerns.

I have reported this problem to the City several times, but nothing has ever been done about it. There is a used car business being operated out of a house at 1316 S. Palmer Ave. Deliveries of used cars and trucks arrive every week, and more often than that. The owner of the business has workers working who are always in the street. The vehicles and the workers block traffic, and it is unsafe for the workers refurbishing the used cars and trucks. In fact, that block of Palmer has become a one-lane street. The cars and trucks are parked up and down the street at all times. The place itself is trash heap. I own a house in the 1400 block, only two doors south of this used car lot, and my property value is diminished because of it. This would NEVER be allowed in any other residential neighborhood in the city. There are constantly many used cars and trucks coming and going as they get refurbished and sold. I've had enough. Please do your work.

This is a continuous issue that seems to have no resolution. This person is parking their various cars right in front of a fire hydrant. In case of a house fire their car would be damaged due to how close and inaccessible the fire hydrant is. The current car parked in front is a blue Honda Civic license plate #DHB956
