This handicap meter is blocked by a bike rack that makes it difficult to pay the meter.
Because of a trailer usually parked here, it can be impossible to drive through when a vehicle is parked across the street. Neighbors and other motorists shouldn’t have to take an alternate route because the roadway is too narrow.
I reported the driving situation on Heritage Rd. Today when I back up to Heritage Rd, the ankle of the next door car parking on the street do block the view. Only when the time I am all out I saw the car from 3 rd street, and the driver in that car be able to see me. It’s not speeding problem, it’s the blocking of view make the back up so dangerous. Citizen’s safety is more important than individuals’ convenient. Please be more concerned.
I received a notice in the mail of an overdue parking citation. It had been issued on 6/20/24 and the notice said that I had failed to pay it within 14 days, so the fine was now doubled. However, I never saw the parking ticket on my car, and I never received any other notice that I had received a ticket. I do not think that this is a fair system, as parking tickets left on cars can be tampered with by other people. I have paid this parking ticket, but I'd like you to look into this policy and consider changing it so that there is some way to ensure that the person receiving a ticket actually sees it in time to pay it before it is doubled. This parking meter took 2 quarters in an attempt to pay for parking between Kirkwood and 6th on the east side of Walnut. The meter never registered any time after both quarters were inserted. Do these meters accept cash or just credit cards or parking apps that charge an extra fee?
