There is a weeping willow at the corner of E Southdowns Dr and S Hawthorne that took a hit during this afternoons storm. We have cleaned most of it up and stacked it nearby for pickup. The problem is, there is still a very large, broken limb hanging dangerously above the walkway that we could not reach. For this branch to be removed, will require a lift and bucket to reach. At dusk, on Tuesday June 17, a new floodlight was turned on near the corner of Woodlawn and Maxwell, at the Bryan Park tennis courts. This flood light points directly at the back of 916 E Maxwell and my home 912 E Maxwell. This light is comically bright and blindly. I support all efforts to maximize the safety of my community members using the tennis courts, the walking path and the parking lot on Woodlawn, but this floodlight is too bright for our neighborhood and pointed in the wrong direction. This light was on past midnight. I am asking that this light is pointed in another direction (towards the parking lot perhaps?) I have included two photos from the standpoint of my back door to my yard, where I can see nothing but the blinding light, and a photo of the back of the house, showing how bright it shines on the south facing side of the house. My neighbors at 916 have their entire south facing side of their house lit up by the blinding light.

With the construction going on in the Building Trades Park homeless people are starting to hang out in the church parking lot across the street. The security patrols for the park used to check out that parking lot but have stopped since the construction has started. It would be nice if they swung through occasionally while the construction is going on.

Guards and managers at Bryan park go head first down slides and run around horseplaying. Isn't this against employee policy? Same rules should apply to guards for their safety.

Hello - Following up to my prior report of an infestation to the city tree in front of our property at 724 S. Washington under uReport Case #202945, I received a message that Haskell Smith would come by to look at it, but the ticket was then closed so I've no way to further communicate with Haskell. I understand that Carpenter ants are opportunistic, but they can make things worse. I am still seeing lots of them around the base of the tree and the typical "saw dust" around the area to indicate some sort of boring insect infestation happening. Has anything been done to mitigate? I am hoping something can be done to save the tree before it gets out of control. I would contact an arborist, but since it is a city tree I assume it should be handled by the city.
