Though this is not a sidewalk or curb issue, I saw no other category that would fit my complaint. Overhanging branches in the 1500 block of E University. They hang so low that I can't drive under them without hitting my radio aerial.
Public sidewalk is totally blocked with overgrowth. On north side of Fenbrook, about 250 yards west of Baldwin Dr.
This morning I noticed that my passenger mirror had been hit. I got out of my vehicle and looked at the other cars down the road and noticed a couple others had been hit as well. (Passenger side of vehicles face a sidewalk, so not side-swiped by another vehicle.) I called the Bloomington Police Department around 2:15 explained the situation, was carried to dispatch, explained again and was told to write a report.
There were several homeless people building a camp near the stoplight at College Mall Rd & E Moore’s Pike. They had shopping carts, bikes and debris by the sidewalk and road. I live and walk through this neighborhood and don’t want to see it become a homeless camp.
The sidewalk on the south side of Moores Pike, east and west of Olcott Blvd. is overgrown and unusable, particularly east of Olcott. Vegetation needs to be cleared so sidewalk is accessible.
Hello. I live at 3210 Kensington Park Drive. For more than a year, one of my neighbors has kept a vehicle parked along the curb in front of his house. It is an old BMW and covered with a tarp. The vehicle has flat tires and is never moved. Not only is this unsightly, but interferes with city services such as leaf pickup, snow removal, street cleaning, etc. I do not have the address of the house it is in front of, but it is about 4 doors to the west of my home, on the same side of the street. It would be obvious to see when you turn onto my street. I'm not sure where to report this, so if this is not the correct department, please advise. Thank you for any help you can give to me.
Having problems with speeding still on east morningside. A bit scary with the snow as more folks are walking in the road and kids are out playing. Thank you for anything you all can do.
Blue Buick at 3345 is permanently stationary with no registration I do not know if this is illegal or not. The condo H.O.A. is unresponsive ( Ivy Sells). The owner of this unit is Hoosier Choice Realty. This resident had a visitor that intimidated me in the past . Cars.law.com states an unregistered vehicle in Indiana may not be located on a sidewalk. Speeding traffic on East Morningside Drive. Can you do ANYTHING about the speeding traffic on East Morningside Drive?? The posted speed limit is 25mph! I feel like it’s going to take someone being seriously injured before anything is done about it. A lot of residents including myself have had to buy our own yard signs begging people to slow down! I feel our tax dollars should enforce this. Post an officer a few times with a radar and hand out some tickets before it’s too late for gods sake! I’m tired of it! I back my boat in the drive in the summer. I literally have people try to drive around the front of me on the sidewalk once. This is crazy. I’m guess the average speed on the street is 45-50mph. Some I’m sure top 60 mph or faster. Please do something. I live on a slight curve. It’s like taking your life in your hands pulling in. Some moron came around the other day looking at her phone going well over 50 mph I’m sure. Thought I was going to die. I’ve lived in plenty of other towns and work in a different town most everyday. It’s not like this anywhere else. Laws are enforced and people don’t have to beg for help. This is like a highway. Please, help out the Morningside residents.
We have cars flying down Ruby Ln heading to High Street. Our house is on the corner of Ruby and S. Covenanter and they fly down Ruby Lane and turn having headed into the ditch. My main concern is that cars fly down Ruby Lane and we have several families with small children. On the lower side of Ruby Lane there is no sidewalk and these cars are flying down the road. Their speed would kill a pedestrian or a child playing if they got hit. It would be nice with a sign or a speed bump to slow some of the traffic flying down E. Ruby Lane. We never see police officers patrol our neighborhood...not even when we file a report that we are out of town and would like beefed up security checks. The same culprits drive exceedingly fast down both E. Ruby Lane and E. Southdowns Drive and never get ticketed for speeding. If you want to get extra income for the city...that would be the way to do it. Set up a police officer and catch all the drivers driving too fast down these streets.
