Only touching base to see if by any chance any recent updates have been made on the loud generator everyday and night for over a month now almost 2 months actually. Because it still has not slowed down use of the generator nor has it stopped at all. Just wanted to check in on this on going issue. Thank you and again sorry to be such a nag.
Blue Buick at 3345 is permanently stationary with no registration I do not know if this is illegal or not. The condo H.O.A. is unresponsive ( Ivy Sells). The owner of this unit is Hoosier Choice Realty. This resident had a visitor that intimidated me in the past . Cars.law.com states an unregistered vehicle in Indiana may not be located on a sidewalk. Hello. There is a problem with reckless driving in the Maple Heights neighborhood. I experience it on my daily walks on Fairview, 11th, Maple, 13th, Jackson, Rogers, etc... I see it and hear it throughout my day specifically on 13th street both west and east directions and Fairview both north and south directions. Frequently, it is a vehicle speeding north on Fairview, then turning east on 13th street. Then just a few minutes later the same car speeds in the reverse directions. Is this some sort of a methamphetamine pickup? I don't know. But it is regular, has been a regular occurrence, and I am tired of it. The worst regular occurrence are negligent, selfish motorists traveling at very high speeds from the east on 13th street heading west to Maple. I was taking in the recycling bin last night and could not believe the speed at which someone drove past me. This is not safe. There is a special needs adolescent in the neighborhood who sometimes dances around in the street. There are children that play and should have every right to play without cars traveling at high speeds past them. This is incredibly dangerous driving in a residential neighborhood and I would appreciate it if the police could enforce the traffic laws prior to their being property damage and/or personal injury. Constant noise after midnight including excessively loud car bass that can be heard down the road. They play it for over an hour some nights after 2 AM. This place needs cleaned up. Quickly. A lot of in and out visitors.
Situation in the McDoel neighborhood. This area is subject to ongoing problems with the homeless population leaving much trash, stealing from our yards, and leaving used needles about. If this was going on in more affluent areas like Sherwood Oaks there would be something done about it but the city has simply not put enough effort into keeping our area safe for the poulation who lives here. The various shelters cannot do much to influence the behavior of their clients. Another issue is that the shelters and especially Shalom Center encourages people to come to Bloomington rather than encouraging other towns to take care of their homeless. We are full of these people and many of us are fed up with their behavior and the numbers of them. McDoel has been an upcoming area with a mix of working class and professionals. Colder weather has subdues the homeless activities but with warmer weather coming many of us feel Switchyard park will again have numerous issues with panhandling and trash and encampments with druggies. There are several encampments in the area populated mostly be drug users. Anything they drag in does not leave and we have some areas of way too much trash. How about some enforcement ?
