I would like to ask the City of Bloomington to begin considering steps to put ordinances, rules, regulations on these Bird Scooters that have infiltrated our city. I have seen almost every person riding in violation of the safety rules the company urges. There have been two people on a scooter, all of them without helmets, and riding on sidewalks/all over campus. They are getting parked on campus bike racks, cluttering up side walks, and generally are unsafe and without any kind of ordinance in place, could only cause potential risk to both car drivers, pedestrians, cyclists etc. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45596449 There are known deaths on these modes of transportation. Indianapolis enacted an ordinance after unsafe crashes had occurred. Bloomington needs to be aware of the risk and make stations for these scooters with agreements on proper use.
Constant banging. Occured all last night and is starting up again tonight. Noise is excessive.
Loud noise past hours.
All of N Madison street parking by the Mill is reserved for permit holders from the Mill. When will permit parkers be directed to the Trades Parking Garage, and make North Madison available for public metered parking?
You closed my previous report, but now you have more campers here today than when I originally reported. And you have a camper that is camping on the side of the road
Greetings: I am the Director of the Farmer House Museum and I would like to address the safety concern in our ally that connect between Morton and College at 10th Street. I have a detailed video taken by our board member that shows the area of concern and safety. We have applied for an AARP grant to secure funding to repair and update the parking pad and the alley inbetween the Woodburn House and the Farmer House museum. At the Farmer House Museum we cannot repair the edges of our parking pad without the evaluation from the City of Bloomington. Thank you for your time and consideration. Trash all over the place from homeless camps
We used to have a street light on this corner (7th & Hay), but the pole fell on my house. It was replaced with one without a light. Any way we could get a light put on it?
On Madison, between the Maple Heights bridge and 16th St, there are no street lights. This makes it unsafe for bikers and pedestrians at night. Please put in a few street lights on this stretch of road.
