The bump out curbs are a hazard to vehicles because they are not well marked in advance of approach. Vehicles are flattening tires and could cause a hazard to pedestrians from loss of control of the vehicle.

I live at 117 S. Heritage Rd. It happened again, I looked right and left, no cars. When I backed up into the street, there’s a car right behind me. Of course I can only see the very small conner of 3rd street, nothing behind neighbor’s car. This is very stressful for me. I have to say, Park Ridge has the best driveway in town. Can easily fit in two cars at least if it’s used for vehicles parking only. If most of the driveway used for storage and create the hazardous for other people, it’s an inconsiderable sin.

117 S Heritage Rd again. The mystery solved. This afternoon a friend visited, I was trining to guide him out of my driveway by standing at the edge. No car in sight, I signed him come out, suddenly there’s a car approaching from back of the parking vehicle, no wonder it comes so quickly. People in the car stop behind the vehicle to yell, wait for their turn. I live in my house since 1990. The red BMW and other things never be moved for more than 10 years. It’s not park there, it’s storages there.

117 S. Heritage again, forgot to tell you the people park behind the vehicle sees no car from the north side, starts to move and when they came to the street, big surprise for them to see me back up that’s why I heard the loud break. So lucky I didn’t get hit or any damage. Thanks God!

Can the sidewalk at xxx East 7th Street be shaved down to eliminate the height difference between the two adjoining slabs? See photo attached. This height difference can be dangerous for westbound cyclists riding on the sidewalk who need to negotiate both a quick right turn and a left turn to enter the SR46 underpass. Now that an asphalt multi-use path has been built at Relato Bloomington at the intersection of Pete Ellis Drive and Longview Avenue, westbound cyclists are more apt to ride on the path/sidewalk vs. the street, and will continue to ride on the sidewalk all the way to the underpass. Cyclists will be going at speed since it is downhill westbound. To negotiate this sidewalk height disparity, while at the same time negotiating a sweeping turn, poses a dangerous situation that can be easily eliminated.

Hello, I am writing to inquire about whether the sidewalk on the east side of S. Jackson St. between 3rd and 4th streets can be repaired. As a person with a visual impairment, I have a terrible time walking on the sidewalk in this location, which is in the block where my house is. The sidewalk is very uneven, with tripping hazards throughout its course due to decay. If I didn't have a visual impairment, it would certainly be easier to walk on this part of the sidewalk, but I know that others with no visual impairment also have a difficult time because of the deteriorated surface. Thank you.
