Trying to use the online bill pay service for water, but it repeatedly is erroring out on me. Here is the error (stack trace), better error handling would be great, as this is not human readable in terms of actions to take.. Server Error in '/eSuite.Utilities' Application. I'm wondering why JSON lists from the Bloomington portal cannot be pulled by anyone. Specifically, we were trying to pull http://bloomington.in.gov/inroads/events?format=json. We get Origin 'http://devindiana.com' is therefore not allowed access. My question is: if this is public data, why can't it be accessed directly by the public. In other words, it students want to build a web site displaying current road closings in Bloomington, do they need special access? We were hoping to use local resources in development classes to demonstrate web sites with local data. Thanks.
