Debris is blocking the sidewalk on the south sidewalk on Grimes.
Westbound traffic on 2nd Street are trying to turn into the new Rockets Convenience Store. I've been in the left turn-lane for Patterson, and someone crossed the double-yellow line to make his own "turn lane" to go into Rockets. The way the entry is shaped there should be no left turn into the facility. Westbound traffic should turn on Patterson and access Rockets the back way. There have been other posts on social media about this. There needs to be a "No Left Turn" sign or something there - it's a prime spot for an accident.
Sidewalk floods every time it rains and leaves a thick layer of mud
The curbs for the new bump-outs on Weatherstone need painted a bright color. It is hard for drivers to see the change in the road, especially at night, and if hit, would cause vehicle damage.
Mud from erosion blocks the sidewalk.
Please consider a stop sign on Southdowns and circle drive. People come up westbound on southdowns heading around the corner very fast. We have many walkers and children and it is a blind curve.
Sidewalk is half covered by dirt/weeds inhibiting pedestrian access to sidewalk.
I assume you're aware of the damage the gas company has done to the asphalt sidewalk in this area (east side of High St by Childs Elementary), and it looks like they are still working. Please make sure that when they repair the sidewalk, they also repair the area immediately north of their work area up to Rock Creek. They have clearly been driving heavy trucks on it and the edges of the sidewalk are cracked and heaving because of it. You can see at the curb ramp at Rock Creek all their tire marks proving they did it and they've broken the concrete there too. Those of us who use this regularly will greatly appreciate a full repair (don't let them just do the obvious area that they removed). Thanks!
I live in the apartment building on the corner of 2nd and High street. The entrance to its parking lot is from High street, very close to the corner. Any time there's a car stopped at the light the entrance is blocked, and the light is delayed for those cars, so unless you are coming in from the south, you have to wait for those cars to go, blocking traffic behind you, or go around the block. Could it be possible to paint the sign in front of the parking lot entrance that cars should not stop there for the light, but a little further from the entrance, and should not block the entrance to the lot? Thank you for consideration!
