At the north end of the sidewalk out front, there is a street sign that blocks the sidewalk. Would it be possible to relocate the sign so that it is not in the way of pedestrians? It is dangerous in the dark.
Retaining wall on NE corner of property alongside Washington Street is starting to collapse. Some of the stone has fallen onto the sidewalk. Still passable, but probably should be addressed. Might be hazardous at night.
Not sure of address - might be both houses - but the shrubs on the north side of the properties here have grown large by the sidewalk and make it difficult to navigate without stepping to the side and walking on the grass. Definitely not ADA compliant at present.
Maybe a complex problem, but there is often standing water (rain or shine, but especially when it's been raining) on the sidewalk and the street in the block just east of Walnut on the south side of 12th Street. .
About 20ft back from the southwest corner of 8th and Washington (between the street and the sidewalk) there is the bottom/stump of what was maybe a parking sign. If moving to the side to allow someone to pass on sidewalk or more likely someone getting out of the passenger side of a car could injure themselves, especially at night. Please remove or replace. Between 211 and 217 E. 10th Street there is an overgrowth that is blocking the sidewalk. I tried to upload a photo but it won't go through.
Habitually wet and often smelly sidewalk on north side of Cottage Grove, midway between Lincoln to the east and 213 E. Cottage Grove to the west. Leaky sewer line (?)
There is a City-owned tree in the ROW that is completely covered in vines, some of which are poison ivy. The vines are right next to the sidewalk, and are so high that the vine is going to seed. Is this the responsibility of the adjacent property owner, or does the City attend to its own trees?
