Your homeless people problem within the city of Bloomington is out of control. It is ruining the city an it's image. Even Inpls TV news is bashing the city for it's pathetic attempt at dealing with the issue. People feel unsafe as do local students. Who gets the blame when something terrible does occur? The mayor's office has certainly known of this problem for quite some time now. It will be the mayor's office having to answer the questions of the victims whenever something does occur. Fix it. The people of Bloomington deserve better.

My account number was 49236-012 I lived at 2789 E.Bressingham Way, Bloomington, Indiana, 47401 (MeadowCreek apartment complex) I finished my service on May 11 and I paid rest of my charge which is $73.64(Confirmation #: 184023 Date: 6/14/2017 4:28:10 AM) But, I realized that after I got my final check from my leasing office at MeadowCreek(It says sewer portion of unpaid CBU bill), so, can you check whether $73.64 which paid on Jun14 is processed or not? Late last month I made arrangements to have the city sanitation service pick up two old dehumidifiers this morning. Unfortunately when I got up this morning to set them out, I discovered I had no garbage stickers. (I put my garbage can out only about once every three months so I hadn't noticed). I deeply regret having made this mistake, and hope you will forgive me. I will call the sanitation office to reschedule a pickup in August or September. Thank you.
The leasing office and pool building of Woodbridge Apartments has restrooms you can get trapped in. There are two restrooms, one mens and one womens, that connect to the exterior (on the pool side) and the interior (on the leasing office side). During normal business hours you can easily enter and exit the restrooms without a key from the interior, leasing office, side. You can also enter the restroom without a key from the pool side, but in order to return to the pool you must use a key that tenants have been given. This creates an environment you can get trapped in. Once the office is closed, it is impossible to leave the restroom through the door that is normally unlocked during the day. If you accidentally enter from the pool side without having a key, once the door closes you'll be trapped until someone finds you. Surely this is unsafe and not up to code. I'm reporting this anonymously as I am a tenant and do not want to cause trouble with the landlord. Thanks for your time.
Hi - I feel like the city needs to issue a warning to cyclists to take extra precautions when locking up their bike. On Monday around 11am, my $1200 bike was stripped of all of its parts that were not locked to the bike rack. This happened right outside my office in a somewhat busy parking lot, in downtown Bloomington, in broad daylight. From the security footage it took the person about 20 minutes. A police report was filed and the officer mentioned he'd seen similar cases recently. After posting about this on social media, I've now heard numerous cases of bikes either being stripped completely or partially during the day at various spots downtown over the past couple weeks. Had there been any media or warnings issued, I would have certainly brought my bike into my office, rather than risk losing most of it. I realize it's just a possession (and not a life) and can be replaced, but given that this seems to be a growing trend, a warning and increased awareness would be helpful.
