While digging holes for a tree planting on 4/30 behind St. Thomas, we found 3 thin utility lines in one of the dug holes (lines were not harmed) -- our 811 ticket was completed, so we think these may be inactive lines but wanted to make sure before we put the tree in that spot. Is this something the CoB can check on? Thanks!
An area was dug up sometime ago to repair a water pipe, however the job was never finished. Cement was poured but no asphalt was applied
An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. If someone chooses to respond to this concern by phone, please note that we have very limited office hours, but they could leave a voice message. Email is actually best. Thank you! Trees on Reisner and Meadowbrook in Hoosier Acres are so low that they almost touch vehicles driving on these streets. They need to be trimmed, they are a danger in the case of a thunderstorm.
My name is Nick Pejeau, and I'm an IU Health employee representing our Trauma Services Community Outreach program, Stepping On. The program seeks to reduce fall risks for elderly adults. One of our class participants reported concerns for fall hazards due to unearthing and uneven sidewalks in their neighborhood where they walk to the grocery. They did not give me an exact location but said, "The first one is on Kinser Pike, somewhere between N Skyline Dr and W Parrish Rd., I think. The second one, the one with cane for scale, is on W Parrish Rd. between Kinser Pike and Kroger." I've attached the picture they submitted to me. Thank you.
