Street tree in danger of lifting up sidewalk
Street tree in danger of lifting up sidewalk
Yesterday I came home to find one of my trees had been cut down by the city. It is a tree I purchased and planted 10 years ago. With no prior notice, or any explanation, it was cut down yesterday. I complained on this forum last night, ticket #165085 and it was assigned to Charles Brandt. I checked status this morning and the ticket seems to have disappeared. I can find no record of it. I also did not receive a response of any kind. The tree was bought by me and no reimbursement has been offered for the city destroying my property. The original complaint was submitted properly, and assigned, and removed from the system without a response from the city. I demand an explanation and I will not be going away until this issue is resolved.
City seems to be deleting and ignoring requests/complaints made through this forum. Yesterday I came home to find one of my trees had been cut down by the city. I complained on this forum last night, ticket #165085 and it was assigned to Charles Brandt. I checked status this morning and the ticket seems to have disappeared. I can find no record of it. City response to it's voting citizens, who the city works for, needs to be addressed. What happened to my original complaint?
Light works sometimes and most nights lately it doesn't.
Trail construction crews blocked up streams with riprap and culverts, destroyed understory growth with mounds of soil left on trail side, and damaged numerous old trees with careless use of equipment
Excessive lawn growth at knee height
This house has not mowed their grass yet this year. The grass is over a foot tall. I believe the house is empty currently.
Our neighbors at 1000 W Countryside Ln have an annual issue with keeping their lawn within acceptable (and City of Bloomington) standards. To date, they have not mowed at all this year. We are seeing an increase in wildlife and pest activity on our property as a result. I am hoping someone might stop by to take a look and prompt them to take action.
Grass is excessively overgrown for weeks
We have a neighbor that lets its dog at at 8a and keeps it out for most of the day. The dog barks constantly. What is my recourse?
