Traffic Suggestions

I live in the apartment building on the corner of 2nd and High street. The entrance to its parking lot is from High street, very close to the corner. Any time there's a car stopped at the light the entrance is blocked, and the light is delayed for those cars, so unless you are coming in from the south, you have to wait for those cars to go, blocking traffic behind you, or go around the block. Could it be possible to paint the sign in front of the parking lot entrance that cars should not stop there for the light, but a little further from the entrance, and should not block the entrance to the lot? Thank you for consideration!

Excessive Growth

323 S Davisson ST

Case Date:
9/9/2024

Behind the fence at 323 S. Davisson it has not been tended this entire year. Overgrowth is between seven and 8 feet and height and thoroughly filled with poison ivy. I believe poison ivy is considered invasive noxious. This needs to be taken care of. Turned into reports this year already no effect would like to see something happen.

Parks & Playgrounds

I wanted to have a meet up with some parents and their children at the park so went to scope it out around 5pm on a Friday afternoon and there were at least eight adults with lots of stuff hanging out and 2 out of 3 restrooms were locked. I know that a public park is for everyone, so I'm talking about of both sides of my mouth, but I didn't feel comfortable and didn't want to have my kids two year old birthday party at the trades park. Seems like a good place to put some more houses, since the park can't be used by everyone. In theory I like the picnic shelters being by the playground so I can sit and eat and watch my kids, but I think I prefer Butler Park while if there are transients who come off the railroad track they aren't at the playground.

Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

912 E 2nd ST

Case Date:

The yellow paint on the curb adjacent to my driveway has (largely) worn away, and cars now park right up to my driveway on 2nd st, which is very busy. I can't see cars coming from either direction when parked cars take these (illegal) positions. I would like the yellow paint to be redone so that drivers would more often leave clearance around my driveway.

Walking by this building, there was a small black and white dog tethered in the yard. Its fur was extremely matted and falling out in places. They have another dog in a fenced-in area that is too far from the sidewalk for me to see its condition.

Yard Waste

804 W Dodds ST

Case Date:

We had trees fall down onto our driveway during a storm. The trees themselves are not from our property and are from the city property right next to us. We moved them over as much as we could so that we could access our driveway, but the fallen trees are quite large and will need to be hauled away.
