Encampment with hostile people living in filth. Defecating and urinating. Just south of dog park. Do something. We spent millions on this park, it is being misused and abused. DO SOMETHING!!!
See case #188814. Action does not appear to have been taken. Rat problem is increasing. This dumpster is *regularly* visited by people who do not live in the complex, both those who drive up, dump their trash and then speed away, and also by those who climb into the dumpster and rummage around for food and other *valuables*. The latter leave a mess (as per attached). Is there any way to force the owners to enclose or secure the dumpster so that only tenants have access to it? Management (Parker Rentals) do not seem to care.

U-report 191557 says resolved. My opinion not this overgrowth is in the faces of the service. I hire to mow the city alley. If I have to remove snow from sidewalks in the winter for safety, this overgrowth is a hazard. It contains poison ivy and is very close to falling into my off street parking. Civic duty take care of it homeowners.

Do you are you hospital being built in Bloomington is putting its workers, their families and your city at risk every single day! They have no program in place to stop the virus from bringing brought on to their campus. They have no social distancing. They can’t keep hand sanitizer in the handwashing stations at the Porta Johns. For a while they had someone who was urinating in the hand sanitizer bottles after emptying them on a daily basis. Now they just steal them. There are 450+ people that come in to that job site on a daily basis from all over Indiana Kentucky Ohio Tennessee and they all are scared and you know that it is just a matter of time until one of them or more brings that virus into the community. Not only is it going to spread like wild fire through the worksite, it will spread through your community because they get gas and groceries and drive through and they interact all throughout your community. Are you health does not care about these workers or their safety. My significant other is a manager out there and does not have the choice to just walk away. The heartbreak that I see on a daily basis because of the worry is cement. Tonight we spent sucking washcloths both the dollar general and bleach and putting them in baggies so that there would be a way for all the workers to wipe down surfaces and have something to wipe their hands with to sanitize them. That’s the little bit that we are doing to try to keep them safe because are you help isn’t. We have been waiting for their plan for over a month on what they are going to do and we are still waiting! Please force them to shut that worksite down for a couple of months until this spike is over! Save our families save your community and save thousands of lives in the process through not having it spread through yours or dozens of other communities that these people go home to. PLEASE I’m begging you for help. This is life and death. I’m not ready to lose my mate yet. It’s not fair to have to make a choice between a lifetime career and the life of your family. I’m terrified that it’s going to come into my life...my home and take everything I love. Or maybe it’ll take me. And for what? A building that isn’t going to be done for 16 months!? Maybe if it was going to be done in a month I could see it. If there was a chance that it could be done and help to save lives but it won’t. There is no way that it can help with this battle so don’t make it make this any worse please! Thank you for your time and consideration. There is a campsite set up on W 3RD Street behind the convention center. in the photo you can see the tent with the convention center behind it. Across the street someone is camping in the doorway of the old Fox Motorcycles door way. There is trash strewn along the sidewalk. This makes it feel unsafe to walk on either side of Third Street between College and Madison. Because of the underpass the space feels constricted adding to the feeling of unease.
CBU utility repair project in street several months ago was never completed. Street is now crumbling.
A few of the capstones on the retaining wall out front are precariously hanging close to the edge as a result of long-term, hydrological processes. They look like they are about to fall, especially if someone happens to sit on the wall at that place. Owner of this property is the same as 322 E. 12th, the one with the dangerous sidewalk. He is an out-of-state, absentee landlord who doesn't care about the neighborhood or safety in general. If he is going to be required to fix the sidewalk on 12th, please also require him to attend to this retaining wall. One of the capstones has already fallen and broken. Someone just picked it up off the sidewalk and placed it back on top of the wall without mortar.
