The concrete apron, on the rails to trails Bridge, located 1.5 miles from Tapp Head, has an abrupt raised edge (peaks at 1.25") If someone could reduce the impact zone, I think that would be less of a liability for all who traverse. Thank you. We love our trails and thank you for maintaining them. Randy Craw 812-360-3600

Traffic Signals

2483-2499 East 3rd Street

Case Date:
7/6/2015

To whom it may concern: I'm writing today about the intersection of S. Hillsdale Dr and E 3rd St in Bloomington, Indiana. Specifically, I'm concerned with the functioning of the traffic signal at that intersection. In short, because the stop line is set pretty far back on Westbound lane of E 3rd St, Westbound drivers rushing through the yellow light have to go a very long way, much longer than those of us using the yellow to make a left turn northbound onto Hillsdale (when there is traffic, there is no choice except making left on the yellow). I'm not doing a great job explaining it here but given the long set-back, it seems odd that both of those lights turn yellow at the same time. I'd be happy to explain better via phone and/or someone could easily observe this dynamic at said intersection. Thanks
