There was evidence that someone is trying to live in the woods on the northern section of the NL trail at Griffy Lake. I hiked parked of this trail 8/26/16 and saw what seemed to be the beginnings of a make shift shelter as well as various Styrofoam to go containers scattered throughout this part of the trail. There was a man who was clearly not on a recreational hike on the NL trail who we saw multiple times before we decided to turn back and head towards the NS trail. The man had long brown hair, was clearly dirty and smelled strongly. He was young (less than 40 years old). We saw him several times on different parts of the NL trail and it was clear he was not hiking the trail in a linear fashion (possibly going of trail to cut to a different part?). The presence of this man plus the food containers/shelter seemed very suspicious and VERY unsafe for recreational hikers. Please have someone take a look out there to clean up the trash/take down the shelter. I have a attached an image marking the location of the food/shelter. There are several big pot holes located at the entrance of the neighborhood turning from Leonard Springs Road onto West Cedar Chase Drive. I suggest county do a complete sectional pavement for this area...to save money and time in the long run, due to the CONSTANT re-patching of the same potholes. This can and does cause automobile damage to tires and wheels. Please see my previous submission 2019-PZYQJO, sent on 7/18/2019. Every year this is repaired, please do a strip blacktop patch for the that entry way versus patching every fall and spring?

when going east on 3rd st, after smith road you cant hardley turn in to edwards square, across from office lounge. traffic heading towards you from the east and traffic coming from behind you is dangerous. because theres no turn lane there. its a busy road, and is a real proble. i work in edwards square and we hear constant worries about it. it really needs to be adressed. thanks. if you have any questions you can call me at 812 -272-8721. thanks mr hiestand

Reporting AGAIN this issue. This section of E 3rd Street, from 446 to Clarizz, is dangerous since you've taken the lanes from 4 to 2. The number of wrecks has increased SIGNIFICANTLY. Today, a motorcyclist. Last week a rear-ending. Most of this results from traffic coming west over the hill and there's simply too much traffic for the 2 lanes. The city has approved these apartments along this stretch and traffic load has gone up while lanes cut in half. PEOPLE ARE GETTING HURT as a result of this change. This is directly the city and collab with the state's fault. I hold you responsible for this change. FIX IT.
