All of the storm sewers along Hillside De that I ran past this morning between Moores Pike and Henderson were very clogged with debris and mud. You could barely see where they were besides the excess sticks, leaves, and mud buildup. Often times our neighborhood drains (Sycamore Knolls) are similar after a big storm.
Constant water source seeming to come up from the road or sidewalk on the southeast corner of Bainbridge and Allendale.
Water coming up from this area is staying on the street drainage. It seems to be worse since the crews recently came through to install fiber. I see multiple reports on this issue have been made but there's water there now that could be tested.
Wednesday, August 9 The catch basin on the west side of the street just north of where the Indiana Rail Road crosses Pete Ellis Drive seems to be plugged somewhere underneath the road. Debris doesn’t pile up on the grate the way it used to, and the large puddle I observed after this afternoon’s thunderstorm was draining only slowly. The issue with this ongoing construction site continues. The workers on-site drove over the silt fence that was supposed to stop concrete run off and they have made no attempts to fix it. Every single time it rains, there is a build up of run off on the sidewalk that prevents water from draining properly and is contaminating the water systems with who knows what. The property has not ever disposed of it properly either (they literally just shovel it onto a tree stump instead of renting a proper disposal receptacle).
The storm drain inlet on the east side of S. Sare Rd has been blocked by yard waste. The drain is located south of the intersection of Sare and Spicewood Ln.
The storm drain at the SW corner of E. Sheridan and S. Karen St. is clogged with the grated cover partially off the culvert
There's an open storm drain that consistently becomes clogged and gets backed up when it rains, causing the water to spill over the road and flood our side yard
The entire street on Olive between Thornton and Miller has flooded with BLACK WATER yet again damaging 5 properties. The flooding is more severe due to the regrettable actions the city took to dump excess asphalt into the low point in the road. It's 2 am so I will not be photographing until dawn, but let me assure you, severe damage has been done by the city of Bloomingtons willful neglect of this area. We were promised a fix last year, and now during a quarantine we are flooded with BLACK WATER.

We are unable to deal with this extent of damage without compromising ourselves and the community.
