An officer Barnes, who I saw at the 4th Street festival told me that she would have coffee with me after I told her that I thought policewomen and men were very special people who are unappreciated and underpaid and we all should cherish them. she instructed me to email the police department. I live on W. Ralston Drive, and many people drive through there to avoid the traffic on Tapp/Country Club. The problem is that they drive really fast, way over the speed limit of 30 mph. We don't have sidewalks and I often feel unsafe walking from my car or my house to my mailbox. My yard has a ditch out front so anyone walking in front of my house has to walk in the street, not in the yard. I would love to have speed bumps installed on our street. There are a lot of elderly people and young families. Thank you!
