A tree that cracked in half from the derecho in the summer has finally fully fallen down into the start of the trail along Wapehani by the entrance to Hidden Hills at Oakdale Square. It would be awesome if the tree could be sawed to reopen the trail. Otherwise, entry to Wapehani from that particular trail entrance is blocked.
The barricades set up on Rockport Road at the intersection of Roger's Street and Rockport Road are creating a dangerous situation. Specifically, the barricade in the lane for Rockport approaching Rogers requires traffic to drive in to oncoming traffic. This particular barricade doesn't seem to serve any purpose, as it is only visible to traffic traveling on Rockport towards Rogers street, the opposite direction of the Tapp/Rockport intersection.
My name is Kaleen Dowdy, I work with Mackie Properties and we manage the Cameron Row HOA community. The homeowner of 2027 S. Ramsey Drive recently submitted a request that stated they believe the Oak tree (Scarlet) at the front of their unit near the street is dead. The City's Tree Map indicates this is a City Tree (I've attached a screenshot including all of the information from your Tree Map for this tree) and we are requesting that it be removed/replaced by The City. The current height/grade of the curb/sidewalk causes the bottom of vehicles to scrape the sidewalk. You can see the scrape marks in the included photo.
