We need a trafic light for pedestrians to activate on the B-Line at 2nd street. Trafic rolls on through with out stopping. The signage is not effective.
I feel that there should be a "No Turn on Red" sign at this intersection. When you travel east on 2nd Street and come to the light at Patterson, you cannot see to make a right turn (south) onto Patterson because of a wall on the northwest corner. In order to see, you have to enter half-way into the southbound lane of Patterson.
When attempting to exit S Euclid onto W 2nd St. it is impossible to see traffic on W 2nd to turn onto W 2nd. There are flowers and weeds on both east and west sides that make this intersection unsafe.
Mr. Shaw attended Telecom. Council meeting to complain that TCI has not been cooperative in laying of cable at new developments and burying drops. He reported a specific recent problem where TCI contractors installed cable in an unacceptable location without consultation with him.
Vacant lot next to 420 w 2nd is overgrown with weeds.
At the Hertz rental they have not mowed this year. It won’t be long and you won’t be able to see the cars for the grass.
Deep potholes from extra traffic and trucks on street right next to 4 spot parking lot for houses at 825 and 827 W. 1st. The street is named as Wylie on street sign but is actually Euclid until it curves east into Wylie. It’s damaging to cars trying to park in our parking lot as well as other cars or bikes or pedestrians traveling on the street.
Street barricades blew down two nights ago. Very dangerous in terms of projectiles hitting people and property. Also hard to see at night for thru traffic on W. 1st.,
W. 1st seems to be open through Walnut as of 12/23/24. There are no speed limit signs anymore. It used to be 20 I believe. People are zooming by excite that it’s open but it’s dangerous for animals and pedestrians. Also does no parking still apply? Speed Signage and oversight needed asap.
