Car blocking sidewalk. Also, cars parking in neighbor's driveway.
Snow on sidewalk
Sorry to report that the top of the Kentucky Coffee Tree in the ROW was snapped off in the storm. Still hanging up there. Can someone come by with a crane and free the top part so that it will drop? We can take care of it once it's on the ground. Please don't take the whole tree out.
Occasionally, I find a vehicle parked on the bicycle/pedestrian path that leads from Countryside Lane to the apartment complex behind the houses on Countryside Lane and Adams Circle. I often walk or cycle in this neighborhood and find it difficult to navigate the improperly parked vehicle, which usually blocks the cross sidewalk as well. Would it be possible to install a couple of posts to discourage parking on the path? I'm not looking to get anyone ticketed, but a good number of drivers seem to be conveniently ignorant of the rules here. Thank you, Nick.
People have been using this walking trail as a road using cars, trucks, and motorized scooters. Driving cars on this path is unacceptable. There was once a cable at the top stopping people from driving but it has been cut. Please put a metal post at the beginning and end of this path preventing vehicles before someone gets injured.
A storm drain down hill from the speedbump on this road is beginning to collapse. The blacktop directly in front of the drain has broken down, creating a large and growing hole in the roadway. This is not a pothole, the road had fallen through completely. This problem appears to be caused by vehicles driving around the newly installed speedbump. Before the road was repaved and the speedbump added, there were no issues with this storm drain. Thanks for your help.
See brochure/ bags must have sticker attached. Must use trash stickers. Thank you LDB Direct. Sanit.
There's something else going on in the neighborhood. The Indiana RR trestle on Adams Street is hit about twice a week. A RR truck took a look at it a few days ago. Rebar is exposed again, they will have to fix it. A neighbor says the trestle is hit about twice a week. I saw a semi with a 40-foot trailer turn around at 6th Street and Adams. Closing Vernal Pike is squeezing traffic, and maps don't help. How about a "No Trucks" and "Low clearance ahead" signs at 5th and Adams?
Cobra head light at north west corner of intersection of N. Adams and W. Kirkwood is going on and off.
