Could you put a City map in a prominent place on the map page, please? The one that is there now, "Main City Map," doesn't show the city boundaries. It's possible to find the city boundaries after a dozen or so clicks through "29 data sets," but only by going through the City Council District maps one by one. Thank you.
The Dear Task Force Report and Executive summary pages are not available.
RE: Charles Brandt The mobile site (at least within Firefox browser on Android) of the UReport page is the one regarded below. >> 7/3/2017 09:34:47 Closed by Charles Brandt Thank you for your feedback on the new website. I'm not sure which page you are experiencing this behavior on, but it certainly sounds like something we would like to fix. Please feel free to send additional feedback with more details. We are constantly working to improve the user experience on the new website. >>>Other: Your mobile site is really hard to navigate. The little window with scrolling inside of it which is the form section should not be scrolling but should be incorporated into the rest of the page. Scrolling inside that little square, especially when needing to use the location map, is really hard to use. Whoever developed this obviously did not test it before implementation. Furthermore, even this edit text box is constrained to fitting only a few words on two small lines. This is also really bad; going back through what the user has typed to check/edit is a test in nimble finger movement. Horrible mobile site
I think it would be great if the Meetings page where it displays agendas, packets, and minutes listed the title of the meeting from the Google Calendar next to the date. That way, for the City Council, someone visiting the site looking just for regular meeting dates would be able to see the difference between a meeting and an internal work session.
Having a contact button and/or email address on the Bloomington boards pages would be great. For instance, looking at the bike one right now I see members but don't know how I can contact either a member or staff person to pitch a grant idea to.
Please remove this entry from public viewing. It contains my personal email and phone information. https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets?category_id=53;sort%5BenteredDate%5D=1;page=13.
On the new City website, I searched for the Wage Growth Task Force Report and found a page with a link to it, but the link does not work. I also tried a copy/paste of the link's text, but it came up "page not found."
Got a call today from someone wanting to search the historic survey. Seems it was not migrated over. Is this something you can take a look at? I may have an Excel version if perhaps we want to just link to that file? But I'd rather at least convert it to a PDF if not loading text onsite.
I don't have a problem. I just wanted to comment on some features of the website. I like how simple and sleek it has become. My main complaint is that every page has these boxes, but the boxes are too big for most screens are mainly wasted space. I would recommend making them smaller to make it easier to find things. The boxes, how they are, are not conducive for the eyes to find what they need.
