Compact ice and snow builds up on the ped/bike underpass. It's extremely treacherous and NO ONE seems to even care enough to lay down some salt. The multi-use path up east 7th street along Park Doral apartments also sees little to no cleaning, but is supposed to be part of a vital pedestrian and bicycle artery. It might be cold, but we're still trying to use this without killing ourselves.
There is an abandoned Red Honda Accord on the corner of E Vermilya Ave and S Walnut St. It has been there for atleast a month with out being moved-- there are weeds growing up around it so I has probably been much longer. You can even find it parked in the exact same location if you go to the street view on google maps it is parked on the curb between 100 and 103 E vermilya Avenue! Needless to say it has been there for a long time. Attached is a picture of the back of the vehicle with make/model, liscense plate number. Along 46 Bypass in the eastbound lane before you reach the intersection of 46 and 17th Street, there is a pothole in the asphalt walkway that runs along 46 Bypass. This may belong to the State Highway. Thanks Jill.
This area is in great need of cleanup and weed removal. As one of our major entries to Bloomington, this area makes our city look very dirty (cigarette butts and debris) and unwelcoming.

I forgot to mention in my original report, #200064, that I called management yesterday about this ongoing issue, and it’s yet to be taken care of. This is sassafras apartments, particularly in front of apts 39, 40, and 41.
There has been a large Rumpke dumpster parked in the exit lane of the parking lot of our apartment complex for 10 days. Hunter Bloomington Property Management gave residents no notice of this dumpster -- or of the two others that have previously been placed in other spots in the parking lot. This makes the necessity of driving the wrong way down the drive lane in the back lot in order to exit even more dangerous. I called their office before end of the day on Friday, June 27th and received no answer. But I haven't been able to get a person on the phone from property management in several months. I also sent an email on July 1 which they also have not responded to. The dumpsters appear to have been for construction garbage, as one of the buildings was re-roofed last week. But residents have used the dumpsters for personal garbage and with the heat, the smell is quite noticeable, just outside our door. We have not been able to consistently get deliveries to our door since this most recent dumpster appeared. And we are also concerned that the dumpster may block the access of emergency vehicles, which I noted in my email to property managment.
