Streetlight burnt out again at corner of N. SUMMITT St. And W. COTTAGE GROVE Rd. We all have power so must be something with the light itself.
Large branch from parkway maple tree needs to be picked up.
Case #184499 still valid. Trash bins remain out on the street/sidewalk.
Blue town bus stop has a rumored piece of art that will last past the ten year mark
Whose idea was it to change the Morton St Parking garage to from 1 entrance / 2 exits to 2 entrances / 1 exit? This makes zero sense. Now instead of cars flowing in and out smoothly, cars are stacking up trying to get out of garage. You get stuck behind every person having to pay to get out, or worse every person having trouble trying to pay to get out. This change was incredibly stupid. It needs to be changed back to the way it was.
Snow Hill Rd had been in a desire state for more than 5 years now. In the past 12 months I have blown out 6 tires due to potholes. We who live in this area and have travel Snow hill Rd daily have had enough. Repave this road ASAP. Whoever is in charge of the roads for Monroe county should quit and find a job he or she is capable of doing. Maybe try working at burger king. We shouldn't have to constantly have to report the road issues and nothing gets done except crappy patch work that last maybe a week. Please direct some funds towards repaving snow hill Rd.
501 S Swain. trash on street.
There is a house behind these weeds. The overgrowth is an eyesore. The sidewalks are not clear. There's is poison ivy preventing me from walking past with my stroller. In the back of the house, branches scrape cars as you drive through the alley. It has looked like this for 6 years. Please do something! It is seriously bringing down the look of our beautiful street impacting home values for sure.
For well over 4 weeks, there is a street light (vintage looking) with a broken glass globe. It is tilting, with a big piece of glass missing. It looks like it’s going to fall. This could be extremely dangerous for any pedestrian. I’m not 100% certain if this street light is city-maintained or a private light fixture. I see quite a few of them close to the downtown core. I’ve emailed the street department and I’ve called, hoping someone would fix this accident-waiting-to-happen. If this is a city-maintained light fixture, this is surely a liability. In a few weeks, the density of pedestrians will increase. Hoping this can be fixed soon!
