Hello,
If you are not the correct contact, would you please forward this as appropriate?
I am a faculty member at the School of Education. I walk to work daily and need to cross Third St. at Rose Ave. Is there any chance of having a crosswalk at this intersection? It is often very difficult to cross with the sometimes long lines of traffic coming from both directions. Finding a break in the traffic and competing with traffic turning onto Third from Rose is often very dangerous.
Also, since I walk on Rose heading north from Hunter, I am forced to walk on the road until I reach Third St. What are the chances of having sidewalk installed on Rose south of Third?
Thanks for considering this.
Hannah

Where is our Parking Enforcement Officer? Day in, day out there are still cars parked on the street in the 600 and 700 block of S Eastside Drive, that seem not to have a valid residential neighborhood parking permit or visitor tag displayed: the white Volvo, the grey Toyota Sienna and the red Ford truck (which should not be parked on the street anyway because it is too long).

Just an observation:
I noticed in the municipal rules for Bloomington bicycling, that Tricycles are still listed as toys and exempt from the regular rules , and in some cases prohibited from the regular rules of the bicyclists.
I feel as though a clarification may be needed, as there are tricycles that are not toys in the familiar sense.
My "bike" has 3 wheels and has the ability to keep pace with road traffic in some areas of town. The wheel size on my trike is 20", and by no means a kids play toy in the conventional sense as my top speed is about 50 MPH (yes, non-motorized)
Thank you for you consideration into looking into the update of the language for tricycle definition.
Sincerely
Randy Craw, proud owner of a modified for speed, recumbent, Catrike, road edition bike.

Is there any way to have

Saraga Oriental Market at 1305 S College Mall Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401 has a credit card processing system that is so old it takes 5 minutes for each transaction. Recently, even that broke down and so they stopped printing out credit card receipts and just give out slips of the total amount that was presumably charged to the credit card, without any information about what items were purchased and what quantity and so on. I say presumably because I've also read on student boards that sometimes Saraga charge 2-3 times for the same transaction, probably because the credit card processor is so old. Could this be cause for a tax audit? It would certainly be a cause for a better business investigation.
Parking Meters and Citations

I am complaining about the parking meter policy. I believe that this policy hurts downtown businesses. I would like the policy changed so that the meters do not have to be in use after 5 pm daily.

Dear Sir or Madam,
There is a real excessive growth of nature in an electrical post and its lines at the alleyway that goes from First Street to University Street parallel to Grant Street, and also the pathway that goes from Grant Street to the aforementioned alleyway (between University and First.
Thank you very much.
Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

The entrance to the alley between 725 S. and 701 S. Highland is a wreck with a steep step off that included a sheared off street level. And the concrete is broken up with a muddy base up to the line of the alley-city sidewalk. Also the curb from 701 S. to the alley is broken and muddy.
Additionally the entrance to the same alley from Jordan Ave. is also broken, but less so.
