On the trail by Winslow Sports Park, adjacent to Highland, near Winslow Farm Rd. There's a short wooden bridge/boardwalk. We were biking on the trail as an alternative to riding on Highland Ave and my son crashed at the bridge. He's fine, but it wasn't fun and it could've been worse. The wood was wet and friction strips are missing/ineffective in areas. There's also a large bump from asphalt to wood, so his tires were bouncing anyway. On top of that, the bridge is located in a turn - you can't even go over it straight, you have to be turning. Turning a bike on wet wood is destined for failure. Please replace this bridge. Preferably a permanent solution, like a culvert covered by concrete, which will permanently resolve the friction and bump issue. Wood will just become an issue again. Thank you.

There is a hole at the base of the fence at Ferguson Dog Park. The picture does not really show how large it is but, my rather large, chubby beagle was able to get out yesterday.

The issue is with this website/reporting system itself, not the courthouse. There needs to be a nonverbal method of reporting certain things - not the least of which being noise complaints. I lost my voice to cancer years ago, but I did not lose my hearing. I have a particularly loud set of neighbors, and I have been unable to do anything about them because I cannot call to make a complaint. I have seen other noise complaints on this website, and while their circumstances may not be the same as mine, it's clear there is a need for a nonverbal reporting method for noise complaints (as well as other similar non-emergent type issues). street lights by old courthouse building downtown in disrepair. Spoke to a City employee (Montell Large) that referred me to this site. Apparently a Chris Smith is responsible for these requests. Please let Mr. Smith know that Montell referred me to him and that these lights are hanging by a thread and need to be fully replaced in order for public safety.

Neighborhood residents near the White Oak Cemetery and the Westside Cemetery have been experiencing toxic smoke from the hazardous fires taking place in the encampments between Butler Park and N Adams St. The residents believe that the individuals in this encampment are either burning plastic trash, plastic coating of stripped wire, or potentially cooking meth. Residents have reported this issue previously through a uReport, but the fire hazards were not addressed. To get to the encampment you can enter from the B-line along N. Adams St., next go right at the end of the mesh wire fence (near B-line light post #183), then cross the railroad tracks (heading south), and you will find the well worn trail to the encampment.
