The sidewalk and bike lane (especially) are in need of repair. It is difficult and dangerous to bike with so many holes, loose gravel and uneven surfaces on N. Smith Road between Morningside and 10th Streets, Bloomington.
There is no pedestrian signal on Third Street at N. Smith Road. This is a busy intersection, therefore adding one would be useful and appreciated.
Our family frequently walks from Park Ridge Park to Park Ridge East Park, crossing at Morningside and Smith. It NEVER feels safe to do so there. Cars on N Smith zoom through at times without slowing and rush you even if they do temporarily pause. We had another close call today. Please enhance this intersection for both pedestrian and bicycle (our family does both here) safety. For an intended crossing, the Smith cars assume they have a bigger more important road and don't pay attention to the signs. Maybe a flasher, more prominent crosswalk sign planted or painted, just something please. It's like this every time and has been for years.

Side walk on the west side of Rogers just south of 11th Street. It is a temporary driveway for construction staging I think for parking garages. I don't know what to do. What do you want me to do? The walk has never been clear. There is always been sand. Today there is a quarter inch of sand. And those big rocks/barriers have been blocking the drive since Friday. So no cars have gone over it all weekend, but there has been sand left there all weekend also. Is this just how it's supposed to be? should I give up expecting a safe pedestrian environment for my children? I don't know what to do. Please tell me what to do. I can sweep it up and put it in a bucket if you need to demonstrate that there is a real volume of material -- I will probably be able to carry the bucket but I guarantee you it'll weigh several pounds. Homeless encampments in seminary park? Why is this allowed? I witnessed a man urinating in open air outside tent at 645 am while I was dropping mail. How is this happening? There are services all over town.
Your verification method with the photos is terrible. Using this in a phone it tormented me for 10 minutes before refusing to register my issue. Your system is great but for the verification issue, which seems to have been designed to torment people into not reporting. I assume most people are using their telephones - serving up nine images (including broad streetscapes) and asking if any fire hydrants or bicycles are depicted, is an impossible task without a jewelers’ eyepiece. The UX is broken, as the kids say. Please consider a different method or no method. The fact that this has to be even reported tells me you must have a system designed by teenagers.

I am currently attending the virtual City of Bloomington Board of Park Commissioners meeting via Zoom. I am disappointed by the city’s negligence to make this meeting more accessible for those with hearing barriers. Why don’t ALL virtual city meetings have closed captions and/or live signing?
