The drainage hole in the backyard between 4100 Bill Mallory Bld and 714 S Park Ridge Rd (Gentry Honours) is filled with mud and causing slow drainage and standing water. The drain appears to need a grate covering and possible rip rap to prevent debris from washing into the drain. The standing water which last for a couple days after rain is causing a mosquito infestation. It has become a health hazard. Please let me know how I should proceed. Thanks, Lacey McCoy 812-322-4125 714 S. Park Ridge Rd
It is nice to have the sewer drains cleared. But they leave the leaves next to the drain and the next time it rains it clogs the drains immediately. It also kills the grass. All for drains at this intersection actually 6 trains at this intersection have a pile of leaves next to them. It was my understanding that those who cleared the storm drains were also supposed to take the debris with them. Please advise.

this is a follow-up from a previous report. The resolution I got about having leaves and debris near the storm sewer drains was that they would pick up the debris as part of the leaf collection. This is problematic in that it may be eight weeks before our leaves are picked up. In the meantime the grass will die like it did last year the pile will grow like it did last year. Last year I had a 3 by 4 by 3 feet high pile by one of the drains and every time it rained it clog the drain cuz it was picked up and moved back into the drain. I am at the bottom of Three Hills and we have consistent of flooding problems here in the fall. If the leaves are not removed along with the twigs and the papers and everything else that flows downhill we're going to continually have flooding problems. So for me saying I have to wait 2 months for this small pile of leaves at each of six trains to be picked up is irresponsible. If they can move it 6 inches they can put it in the back of their truck. If I don't get a better resolution I will be escalating this problem up the chain of command. Thank you very much. please get back to me as soon as you can.
Once again I tried to make the map show 2238 S Sweetbriar Circle, but to not avail. Behind my home there is a city right-away with trees. Many of them are those "tree of Heaven" trees from China. Several of their limbs are nearly to my newly installed roof and others, along with other vegetation are encroaching on my lawn. Mowing is becoming difficult, sunshine doesn't get through so I am seeing lots of moss and mold. Some of those trees need trimming and the brush needs to be cut back so I get some sunshine back there. Also since the city has redone a drain up on Henderson Street, I am getting lots of rocks, dirt, etc. with every rainfall that is filling up the area in the back. I moved here in 1998 and It has never been this bad until the drain was redone. Thanks for listening to my complaints. Hope these things can be fixed. The "tree of Heaven" trees are very nasty. They are terrible and multiply very quickly and grow extremely fast. Can anything be done to eradicate them? They root out any native Indiana trees. They need to be gone!
The construction remediation materials protecting a storm sewer drain back near the railroad tracks has been disreguarded and run over by the Duke trucks. This is at a low spot and often floods. The staw baffles and warning posts have been flattened by the work equipment. I pointed it out to crew members and they did not show concern or fix it.
New house construction in Renwick on Melville Circle , no erosion control, no silt fence, no rock damn , no straw bales, nothing .Excavation runoff going directly into storm drain and into Jackson Creek, Red clay mud all over the street , no building permit posted or I would call the builder myself , No concrete washout , lime water going to Jackson Creek HELP
storm water pipes are clogged and stream bed is eroding. This is on the B-line just west of the rail overpass and across from the new Habitat development. Looks like i'm about to loose a tree to erosion in the storm ditch.
Looking to obtain any drainage reports for areas around Wapehani Bike Park. Particularly the Sam's Club and Rural King shopping center.
