Hello, I work at Teach and Play ABA and it’s owned by Sara Shrivastav. She sent us an email in regards to the fire safety issues that she was made aware of and she hasn’t any intentions of making changes as of right now. I’m concerned because we’ve already had a fire in the facility and it was very poorly handled. I’m worried for the safety of myself, coworkers and children at the facility. She wrote us an email saying we are not allowed to let you in the building and it’s just very concerning to me. She has already opened two more facilities and they also don’t have sprinklers or fire alarms and I ultimately just want to make sure we’re in a safe environment. I’m also not sure if it’s structurally sound. She did a lot of the remodeling by herself so if there’s anyway someone could check that and make sure things are up to standard because she had mercury lightbulbs which caused the first fire, I would really appreciate that. Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns regarding this matter.

There is an abandoned vehicle parked in the street at 908 S. Washington St. It is a blue Volkswagen Tiguan with flat tires and expired plates.

There are two cars in the parking lot that are not running with expired temporarily Tags. One is a gold/ silver Chrysler sedan, with windows down. The other is a blue Suzuki compact car. There is a third gold/silver Toyota sedan with darkened tail lights. It has an expired temporarily tag as well. These cars are not legally registered in the state of Indiana and are taking up already sparse parking spaces meant for fully legal residents. Thankyou for your help.

Additional camp. There is a large dog which barks when hiking in the area. Campers in park area between clear creek and the rail trail. Campers are in flood plain, which is hazardous for them. Beacon has been contacted and is unable to reach out at this time. There is a noticeable decrease of people hiking this part of the park and a decrease in wild birds in the area.

My husband and I are present members of the YMCA, and go this facility often. We are concerned about the lack of cleanliness of the locker room, bathrooms and the drinking fountains. This is a health risk to our community, with the potential for diseases. Also, the drinking fountain in the track area is warm, plus never cleaned. Another example is in the shower. I have seen something left accidently like a shampoo bottle, and I will see it there for weeks at a time. The shower smells of urine,and it is NOT clean. Again, we are very concerned about possible diseases. The health department needs to do an inspection. My husband and I have complained to the YMCA multiple times, but nothing has changed. During the fall of 2020, annual maintenance of the electric wires on the right side of the street (heading south) was done. I don’t know if it’s the city, Duke Energy, or a company who performs this task but today I am writing to complain about the results of the work. It affects the following locations * Beginning at 1816 S High heading south through 2011 S High * And again beginning at 2020 S High heading south through 2021 S High As an avid gardener, it is painful to look at the way the trees are trimmed in the first place. This is the most egregious offense. And just as important, the trees and limbs that were removed are randomly thrown on the ground and it is a visual eyesore. When I look at this I wonder why all the trees aren’t just removed from both stretches on South High? Who is responsible for this mess and what can be done about it? It is shoddy work and our town of Bloomington shouldn’t allow for it.

Please inspect the tree behind the New Hope dumpster that is on Park District strip of land. The tree is severally leaning and resting against another. It might be compromised due to last weeks storm. It might have been responsible for a smashed car windshield. If not there is some dead branches that are a risk to the New Hope staff and client parking on the North side of the property.

Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. I have been dealing with a leak from the upstate department for seven weeks now. I have spent my own money and my own time to redirect the leak. I have had to move furniture in my living room and bedroom. I spent multiple shop vac, moving furniture, vacuuming, and spraying the carpet. I have had absolutely no help from the summit point staff after making six submissions for their help. I would appreciate any help I can get.
