The sewer lines for 2201, 2203, and 2207 connect together and then jointly connect to city sewer. As this was done sometime in the 1950s, is this up to current city codes? Over the past few years there have been a few sewer back-ups as a result of all lines being connected. Is there a grant available to the homeowners that will allow each of them to disconnect from each other and connect to city sewer individually? I am the homeowner and have recently built an attached sunroom with sinks at this address. I need to connect the water pipe from those sinks to the city sewer line, and so would like to request a detailed sewer line map of/around my property, if available. Thanks.

The multi-use trail on the north side of Rogers road has significant plant overgrowth. At some points, the ten foot path has only four feet of usable width due to the overgrowth. The bushes need to be cut back and the edges of the path need to be cleared. This is on Rogers Rd beginning at the crosswalk roundabout intersection with High St and extending about 350-400 feet east. Thank you!

There are homeless encampments steadily increasing in number behind my house and those of my neighbors. There are now several in view of my windows. The amount of trash is staggering, including countless hypodermic needles. Trash is regularly set on fire by the residents of the encampments, producing noxious smoke that smells terrible and is surely not safe to breathe. The city needs to do something about these encampments. Open air drug use within feet of neighborhoods with young children should not be tolerated. I've been a resident of Bloomington for a decade and I'm strongly considering moving out of town due to the city's inability to address this issue. Please do something.

Path/sidewalk along north side of Rogers (between High and Winding Brook Circle) is substantially overgrown, reducing effective width by almost 50% in places. There is a good amount of poison ivy included. This is a recurring problem that needs to be permanently addressed. I've reported this issue multiple times over the past couple summers. If this is city's responsibility could it be a regularly scheduled maintenance item?

Portapot and dumpster has been in the road for years. Owner is burying very large brush piles, several trees on city property along creek, this is occurring in a floodplain also. They have installed lights on the front and rear of home that are extremely bright.

We had Weddle Plumbing out today to rod-out our main sewer line (due to slowness). He didn't find the usual root issue they normally do on our line, and when he checked the city sewer access, we found the main sewer water level unusually high (and at times stagnant). See image attached. It seems like the city's main line may also need rodding. I hope this can be serviced soon, before it affects (back up into) our line (again?).
