I witnessed a man getting sucker punched in front of blue bird nightclub shortly before 12;30am on June 22. Officer 67 arrived within a few minutes and placed handcuffs on the man who was sucker punched. I immediately told officer 67 that I saw the perpetrator walk down the alley, but officer 67 told me to get back and would not listen to me... while I was watching the perpetrator walk down the alley. Other witnesses were also telling officer 67 the perpetrator was getting away. Officer 67 acted emotionally in arresting the victim. It was wrong. I could identify the perpetrator. the sidewalk/curb cut that slopes down to 6th Street from the corner of 6th and Walnut (outside Samira) is in a terrible state of disrepair. As a wheelchair user, I need to dodge the crumbling cement and holes as I negotiate the slope. Doing that with traffic turning left from Walnut is DANGEROUS. Can this part of the sidewalk be fixed by the city?

Woodlawn, alley between the Subway/apartment building and rental house. Shrubs block all traffic visibility. Pulling out onto Woodlawn, you can't see what's coming from the right/heading south. Not even pedestrians on the sidewalk can be seen. Dangerous to pull out here since you pull out blindly not knowing what's coming, but also very dangerous for pedestrians (and bikers/scooters) because we can't see them coming when we pull out. There is an IU parking lot in this alley, so it's used daily by several people who say a little prayer for safety every time they have to leave work from this location. This has been reported by colleagues more than once, but the building owner has never taken any action. Not even so much as to trim the shrubs back. In our opinion, the shrubs should be removed completely. Even by trimming, pedestrians still would not be visible.

I just saw a black pickup truck with its bed overflowing with Bird scooters, seemingly not held down by anything, driving rather recklessly considering it could fling scooters into the road at any moment. I’m assuming this truck was being driven by one of Bird’s chargers.
