It's not inaccessible, but the parking lines around the square are now completely invisible this morning, under a light dusting of snow. I contacted the City about this two months ago, and got a message saying that it was "resolved" and that they "would be painting the lines this week." They remain unpainted. I am the County Recorder, I work in the Courthouse, and I and many others here arrive before full light in the winter. We cannot see to park. Please get these painted at the earliest possible date. Thank you. -Eric Schmitz

Anthony’s Pet Shop in College Mall mistreats their animals, allowing them to live in extremely inadequate cages, puts their animals on unsafe steroids and has a very unsanitary environment for their animals they’re selling. Many animals have been purchased with customers unaware of the animal having parvovirus as well as many other illnesses.

There are creepy handwritten signs on Kirkwood today (Mon morning). There is one directly across from Uptown on a trash can, another further towards campus, and the 3rd one on my route is on the pizzaria corner. They are threatening in tone; they say people in the city should leave town as it's "the time of vengence." The Pizzaria one says to be alert because enemies are waiting to devour us like lions. Upsetting.
In the Spring someone from my office could never find someone in the Morton parking garage so that she could buy the $40 parking pass. Now i am having difficulty contacting someone during business hours for the same reason. I have left 2 messages and continue to try and no one answers the phone. Who else can i call or email? My phone calls have gone unanswered. thank you, Britt Rust
