There are three curbs that I think should be painted yellow so cyclists (and cars) don't run over them: 1) 108 W 4th St. in front of WFHB station there is a very low curb that is easy to miss as a cyclist 2) 200 E 4th St there are two brand new curbs / bump outs for the Fifth-Third bank parking entrance. I'm glad they are there but if they were yellow they'd be easier to see, especially at night. Thank you, Jaclyn

The photograph of this hole was taken Sept. 27, 2019. The same hole can be found in case #161692 from Oct. 27, 2017. Danna Workman reported that the hole had been repaired, but I can assure you it was not. It is located between 1217 and 1221 N Madison (closer to 1217, and so large as to be observable from satellite photos and Google Street View). Even though I knew it was there, in the dark the other night, I nearly turned an ankle in it. The whole sidewalk along the west side of N. Madison between 16th and 17th is in a terrible state of disrepair and has been the entire time I've lived in this neighborhood. I know that landowners are supposed to maintain the sidewalks, but I also know that it's the city's duty to enforce that rule. What I don't know is why Danna Workman reported that the hole was repaired when it wasn't. In any event, the sidewalk is still a hazard. What are you going to do about it?
I recently saw a map of sidewalks that showed the westside of Madison between 16th and 17th was in "fair" condition (https://bloomington.in.gov/transportation/sidewalks/repair-assistance/map.pdf). This stretch of sidewalk is narrow and broken and one of the worst well-traveled pedestrian areas in town. The east side of the street, labeled poor on the map, isn't nearly as bad. At the very least, I'd like the map corrected so there is an accurate recored. But, what I'd really like done is that this block is fixed. It is heavily traversed and will likely see more traffic once the bus routes change. Thank you.
Hi--we love the work the city road crews do to plow snow and sand for safe travel. We do have one request for our cul-de-sac, though (Skylark Court, east off of Highland Avenue). We'd appreciate it if the plow drivers could return and plow the large pile of snow covering the lone storm water drain off to the side, so as to uncover the drain. Also, in the future, can they please avoid piling snow that storm water drain. It is the drain for the entire cul-de-sac. In the photo, this location is shown approximately by the red arrow. When snow is piled over this drain, as snow melts from anywhere uphill, or if it rains, the snow pile caps off the drain and the bottom of the cul-de-sac floods. The storm water drain is at the bottom of the cul-de-sac, which is all one slope, so A LOT of water runs to that one drain. One concern we have with the flooding is that several utility hook-ups (electricity, telephone, and cable) are just a foot or two away from the drain. Things have been done this way for years, and we have always taken it upon ourselves to shovel the drain clear, but this year we realized it would be a great idea to ask if the plow drivers could do this instead. Potholes at 39 degrees 7 minutes, 32.7 seconds North; 86 degrees, 30 minutes, 58.4 seconds West. Also a couple of smaller ones toward the west.
A full contractor-type heavy duty trash bag is almost in the ditch on West 7th Street, west of Adams Street, on the south side of 7th. It has been there for more than a week. I'm surprised it hasn't been washed all the way into the ditch.
Traffic light at Kirk wood and Adams stays on green for the west bound traffic bound traffic on Kirkwood for about 3 minutes while the other lanes back up. Especially Adams which backs up from Kirk wood to the B trail in the morning
crumbling, cracked and dangerous curbs and sidewalks on 1200 block of East Wylie St.
Basically half of the limbs of this tree at the NE corner of 6th & Pine are dead. If the root system is as compromised, this tree will fall into 6th Street and crush whatever is below.
