Our CBU water bill was incorrect for the month of November.
I tried to log into my COB account so I could pay my utility bill that is due on Tuesday (11/26/2019) and when I entered my account information and pressed login it presented the dialogue in the picture that is attached to this message. Is the Wastewater Usage charge of $46.56 a new item or an error? If error, will the overpayment be credited on the next billing cycle?
Hello City of Bloomington, I'm inquiring as to a sudden increase in water usage for this service address 2476 S Walnut St, account #15464-003. I'd like to request a verified meter read to check for any changes in the water consumption and any possible faults with the prior reading or meter integrity. I was billed for 3000 gallons of water in a month that I used less than 100. Both the meter and the next bill I received reflect this. I assumed I would be credited for the overpayment when the meter was checked again, but that did not happen.
My water bill seems abnormally high (2-3 times higher than any bill I've received the last few years). I saw the article in the Herald Times concerning residences on the south side who were billed incorrectly, which appears to be my case. My water Utilization is up by a factor of 4 from past months. There is nothing that we are doing to dramatically increase water use. Either past or current metering is in error or there is some kind of major unknown usage.
RE: uReport case #171004 This case has been closed; however, the issue is not resolved. No adjustment was made to my Dec invoice in regard to our incorrect Nov. bill. Due to new meter issue, our Nov. bill was $150.90 (4 times normal). Kim Trotter closed the case stating an adjustment was made and would reflect on Dec. invoice. I do not believe I owe any amount for this month and probably most of Jan. invoice due to my overpayment. This issue must be resolved. I can be reached at (812) 361-6041
