Location is 422 Dunn St. Ongoing trash problem with loose trash all over the yard and overflowing cans. Complaint from local business next door (Bloomington Bagel). FYI: The GPS location is not correct in this report.
Is there a way to permanently ban a food delivery service from delivering to a property? We have had two issues with Grubhub First, it was a food safety issue earlier this year. Now it is an issue of drivers asking for cash outside of order payment and tips. This is not safe for anyone. As the property manager, I have asked GrubHub how our address can be deleted from their system. Is there anything else that I can do on a City level?
The trail / path around Bryan Park is being obstructed on the northwest corner of the tennis courts. The bushes and brush are overgrown and reducing the width of the path significantly.
Water pressure is unreasonably low.
Location: Morrison's TV & Appliances (closed) @ ~900 W Kirkwood Ave. There is a shopping cart (large'ish size; standard grocery store) that has been left on the sidewalk for at least a week. It is just immediately west of the curb-cut drive-in for the old Morrison's lot. I've moved it off to the side to clear the sidewalk (now sitting next to the Morrison's fence), but it needs removed permanently. There is nothing in the cart and no one appears to have touched it in at least seven days. Thank you! Happy Holidays/stay warm!! =)
Bloomington seems to be having less and less affordable housing compared to the increase of luxury apartments and high-end housing being built, which is doing nothing to help this town given how much poverty, homelessness, and gentrification plagues Bloomington.
Per the city of Bloomington's electric scooter guidelines "Park the scooter in a bike rack or in another lawful spot on public property that does not block the right-of-way, limit access for individuals with disabilities, risk damaging private or public property, or jeopardize public safety." I live at 912 S. Rogers, across the street from a homeless shelter. The lights in the alley behind my house (the alley that runs between Dixie and Dodds streets) are not working. One seems to be burnt out and one is at half power and shuts off every few minutes.
My neighbor's black walnut trees drop hundreds of them on my lawn and I don't know how to get rid of them. I finally got them in two large containers, but they are very heavy and I cannot move them. Any ideas?
