Coming down Covenanter from Jackson Creek Kroger, going towards Clarizz Blvd, turn left onto Clarizz. On the right against the junction box is a sign from Eldercare Home Connections.
A similar sign is on the grass of the AMC building, facing the parking lot, on the corner close to Hobby Lobby.

Farmers Market Shutdown,
I have no idea what threats or racial incivility the Mayor knows exist in the Bloomington farmers market that threaten the community. I don’t know what “the” white supremacists said, did or threatened to do in Bloomington. Did some nut case threaten to drive a truckload of nitrates into the courthouse like a disgruntled landowner did up in Lafayette years ago. If so, arrest them. Lead, don’t cower. If the offense isn’t prosecutable stay calm and carry on with business.
Open the Market.
Sell veggies...not manure.

I thought the Bloomington police handled themselves well Saturday at the market. They were put in a bad position needing to enforce the parks department decision to trespass a protester. The officers were calm, courteous, and professional throughout despite being yelled at and called names. Thanks for keeping us safe and civil as best you can given the circumstances. I'm sorry people are taking out frustrations on you.

I am very concerned with the Mayor's comments about the Farmer's Market.
You cannot have it both ways, you don't get to condemn white nationalists in one sentence and then welcome all in the next. I would like to see some clarification on what he meant by this statement.
“As Mayor, I have spoken for our city to condemn white nationalism and white supremacists as a scourge on our country and our community, and to promise that we will do all we can to overcome their legacies and any current efforts,” said Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton. “We also want to assure that everyone knows that all are welcome in our inclusive Bloomington, and that our Farmers’ Market will embody those values of inclusion and welcoming, as well as be a safe space for all to gather, as our community expects every Saturday.”
This reads like White Nationalists are welcome.

The residents at 1122 W. 6th Street have never taken their trash bin/recycling bin off their sidewalk or front lawn (just off the sidewalk) since the very start of when the bins were delivered. They frequently just leave it right in the middle of the sidewalk for days. According to the rules, they aren't supposed to be there all week.

Does Bloomington have an ordnance requiring Land lords to do background check on tenants before entering into contracts either tenants? I’m told this help make landlords aware of crimes against children and sex offenders . Is this true if so can I have a copy of this emailed to me? I have looked and can’t seem to find any such ordinance . I’m hoping this is a real thing. I’d like to bring this to my town board to be put in place in my home town to help keep children safe as much as we can. Thank you for your help.
