Writer wants to know why the 75-100 years old osage-orange tree that was in Ninth St Park was cut down. This was a beautiful tree, showed no signs of illness, and was one of the largest of its species left in the county. (see e-mail).

Despite previous warnings from city staff, there continue to be cars parked in the front yard. Tonight, one car in the yard and one car blocking the sidewalk. We also have photo from 6/14 of a car parked in the yard.
Like many others in my neighborhood, I have had items stolen from my (unlocked) car this summer. In particular an empty Ray Ban sunglasses case, and a cheap GSP system ($100). I noticed the items were missing about July 7.

Southdowns Details: The branches of the trees (willows?) on Southdowns are hitting cyclists in the face if they stay in the designated bike lane, between Woodlawn (Bryan Park) and Highland. Please check both sides of Southdowns (one-way traffic). I think the trees need a trim.
Location of your Problem: 2910 N Ramble Rd E Details: How is it possible to get sidewalks and curbs in the part of the Blue Ridge subdivision that doesn't have them? We live on Wellington Drive in Sherwood Oaks and our street sign is turned so it looks like Wellington is Allendale and vice versa. Also off of Allendale, the Roxbury sign is bent. Location of your Problem: 1215 S. Grant Details: I want to file a complaint about my neighbors at 1215 S Grant St, Bloomington, 47401. Bags of waste regularly accumulate on their front porch and around the yard and are never tagged and removed on garbage days. The property is owned by a landlord whose name I don't know. Several bags are present on the porch and around the property currently.

Location of your Problem: 901 W 4th Street Details: The property has overgrown bushes, weeds, and trees surrounding it, which are unsightly. Also, some foliage hangs over the alley (Waldron Street, directly south of 4th), blocking access, and scraping cars that pass by. The grass in back and along side the alley is frequently very long and unsightly. This property stands out, in what is otherwise a nice area of W. 4th Street.
