Ms. Foster sent an email through the COB E-Government web site. Her complaint is to keep her current service, she has to upgrade to digital which includes one premium channel at an additional $2.00 a month charge. She had to wait on the Insight representative to arrive, and buy a new VCR because hers is not compatible with digital. She was happy with her current service, and without the premium channel she would not have had to change. However, Insight has been trying to make it up to her.

RE: Twin Lakes Lodge: The building was dirty when they rented it. The floors had not been swept very well. There were piles of dirt in the corners. The floor had not been mopped. The bathroom sinks and toilets were dirty. They went ahead and cleaned up because they did not have the time to call the Parsk Dept. before their party began. They also cleaned up afterwards, but feels it was not their duty to clean up other people's messes.

The Grandview Neighborhood has contacted Council Member Matt Pierce about the construction noise coming from the rock smashers at the Don Mitchell property. Apparently the construction has been going well into the night seven days a week. It appears that if the equipment has factory mufflers then construction equipment is exempted from the ordinance. Matt wanted HAND to try some gentle suasion and appeals to being a good neighbor. He is also looking into amending the ordinance.
