Despite previous warnings from city staff, there continue to be cars parked in the front yard. Tonight, one car in the yard and one car blocking the sidewalk. We also have photo from 6/14 of a car parked in the yard.
Like many others in my neighborhood, I have had items stolen from my (unlocked) car this summer. In particular an empty Ray Ban sunglasses case, and a cheap GSP system ($100). I noticed the items were missing about July 7.
Location of your Problem: 1215 S. Grant Details: I want to file a complaint about my neighbors at 1215 S Grant St, Bloomington, 47401. Bags of waste regularly accumulate on their front porch and around the yard and are never tagged and removed on garbage days. The property is owned by a landlord whose name I don't know. Several bags are present on the porch and around the property currently.
Location of your Problem: 1310 West Woodhill Drive Details: I have big tree limbs down in my yard by the sidewalk and street due to the high winds we experienced last Thursday. Can the City of Bloomington's Neighborhood Services Team send someone to pick them up for disposal? Thank you. Contact Info Name: Ronetta F. Location of your Problem: 500 S Eastside Drive Details: Orange cones sitting at the end of the "Hunter foot path" (at the 500 S Eastside end of the path) for more than a month now, after some construction this summer. Location of your Problem: 500 S Eastside Drive Details: "Hunter foot path" (between Mitchell and Eastside Drive) starting to be overgrown by weeds. Whose responsibility is it to keep the path free of weeds: the 500 Eastside Drive people or the city who made the adjacent ditch and foot path? Contact Info Name: Stella Hooker Email: altfluit@yahoo.com Telephone: 333-7006
Location of your Problem: 1211 E Elliston Drive Details: This property appears to have transitioned to a residential rental in a primarily single family residential neighborhood. Normally not a problem, however, on a regular basis there are upwards of 7 to 10 cars parked in and around this property. Often they are parked facing the opposite direction of traffic and one truck appears to be a trash dump for the property. Please look into this and confirm if A) this is a legal occupancy per HAND, B) is the parking of so many vehicles permitted?, C) Are there any solid waste concerns for storing a property's trash in a truck on the street? We waited to see if it was a short term issue, but it seems to be a permanent issue. Contact Info Name: Prefer to Remain Anonymous
Location of your Problem: Details: Want to anonymously report suspicious activity at 1414 E. Elliston Drive, multiple visitors to this property at all hours of the day, individuals waiting in cars outside regularly who do not live there. Please keep anonymous, but want to encourage late night police presence or periodic visits to ensure neighborhood safety.
