I drove by yesterday and it looks like the trash that had been strewn on the front driveway has been moved to the north side of the house and covered with tarp. I have lived at 1211 West 11th Street with my daughter for 2 1/2 years. I have called HAND multiple times concerning the house next to me at 1209 West 11th Street. The yard is not mowed on a regular basis with the backyard waist high at present. There are out buildings that are in disrepair with trash throughout the yard. There is also a truck in the backyard that hasn't been moved in 2 1/2 years along with stacks of tires. There are trash bags, mattresses, and other items on the front porch. Multiple windows are boarded up, and there are large holes in the roof. There are Copperheads in the yard.There are many pedestrians in the area and with the snakes present, there is a very real danger. I called animal control last summer and was told they couldn't do anything because it was the snakes' "natural habitat". I greatly appreciate your attention to this matter. Diane Fraker 812-360-7243
